Hello. This is my first ever post!
We've been to WDW a few times before. Our last trip was in November of 2004. We are planning a long weekend from 10/31-11/4 to coincide with a school break for our boys. We're not usually 'take-the-kids-out-of-school-for vacation' people, but the day we want to leave is Halloween, so I'm trying to talk myself and my DH into taking them out for just the last 1/2 of the day so we could be at WDW for Halloween. I haven't bought any plane tickets yet, but the flight I'm looking at would get into MCO at 5:18 pm on Halloween Night.
Anyone know how late the trick-or-treating at Downtown Disney or other Halloween festivities go on? I'm trying to figure out what time we could realistically get to Downtown Disney for trick-or-treating if we first have to get from the airport to our resort (Pop Century), check in, and have the boys change into their costumes before we head over. (We'll probably be renting a car at the airport). Do you think the trick-or-treating will still be going on by the time we could get there?
Thanks in advance for your help!

It's not really an "event" maybe?
