Can someone give me an idea of the boat schedule between Downtown Disney and Port Orleans Riverside, and also the schedule around the Boardwalk and BC/YC resort area? Thank you!

Peace :hippie:

It's been awhile since I've used the boats at POR/FQ to DTD, so I can't really give you good info on those, but I'm sure someone can.
The boats at the Epcot resorts run about an hour before park opening and about 1-2 hrs after park closing. The route is...Epcot, BW, YC/BC, S/D, DHS.
From DHS, it's S/D, YC/BC, BW. Epcot.
These boats tend to run every 20 or so mins.

Boats between Port Orleans and DTD Marketplace run between 10 a.m. and 11 p.m.

Service is every 20 minutes until 4 p.m., & every 10 minutes in the evening.

Route of the Epcot Resort boats:

Epcot (International Gateway)
Boardwalk
Yacht Club/Beach Club
Swan/Dolphin
DHS
Swan/Dolphin
Yacht Club/Beach Club
Boardwalk
Epcot

They run about an hour after park closing. If DHS closes before Epcot, the boats will turn around at the Swan/Dolphin.

Don't forget if there is rain and a chance of lightning then the boat service will stop and it will be forced to stop at the closest resort and stay there until they can resume operations. That happened to me when I took the boat back from Hollywood Studios, however since the boat docks were full at the Swan/Dolphin we had to stop at the Yacht Club/Beach Club and I decided to walk to the Boardwalk instead of waiting on the boat.

I was also told should all the boat docks be taken during a time like that then the boat will be forced to go back where it came from, so only in a situation like that is when WDW add's buses to from Hollywood Studios to the Deluxe Epcot Resorts.

Well...sort of. I have yet to find the boats not running due to rain. Severe, abnormally heavy rain with lightening..yes. But not just rain. And I stay primarily at BWV.
So, while you can find the boats not running, it doesn't happen very often.

Well about the sentence you highlighted that was mentioned by the Cast Member who was driving the boat, so maybe you can call it another case of WDW transportation Cast Members giving out incorrect information.

I also remember at the time there was no lightning yet that had happened, however the rain was not hard but it was starting to come down.

Oops - didn't see your earlier post. That's what I get for skim reading!

In 10 years of staying at BWV, I can only recall one time that the boats were not running due to weather. We were at DHS and were directed to a bus.

I have been trying to leave DHS to get back to BC when the boats were not running due to storms. They had buses running to replace the boats, and that was the most crowded and unpleasant bus trip I ever have had on Disney transport.
