downtown disney at Christmas

WE are going to Disney at CHristmas time and staying at a Downtown Disney Hotel. Has anyone "done" Downtown DIsney at CHristmas time and have some suggestions? Of couse we are doing the parks and all their festivities, but wondered if there is anythng special at Downtown I need to catch.

There is a tree lighting at downtown and also various entertainments on the stage down by the water. We've seen a band, choral group and singing and dancing in this area. It's a nice place to visit at night a very festive christmassy feeling. The weather is sometimes cooler then and it does lend a holiday feel to everything. Along with the shopping and some really great dining DDT is always a fun place to visit any time of year.
