Truthfully the few I have seen (in the US edited version) have been edited for two reasons. 1. They need to fit it into our traditional blocked time (even being in PBS) we run our shows at different lengths than the UK does. That settles it, then. I'm going to buy the unedited version on Amazon. I prefer to binge watch anyway, at least 2 episodes back to back.

PBS runs with no commercial during the show (maybe only on the half hour or hour depending on the show). It is our Public Broadcasting channel. In a "30 min" program on regular tv, I believe we are avg around if not under 22mins for the actual show. Usually 3-4 commercial breaks avg 2-3 mins each.

That is nothing compared with whst they have done on the tv show Reign! mary at court with modern prom dress and her BFF Lola Greer Kenna and Ashlee. Her hunk of a husband with his mistress a real hoot there the real Francis would have been nothing like that poor boy was in love with her was very sickly his testicles had not descended and died two years after they married!

Ugh hated what happened to Anna. so terrible. And that evil thing going after Tom. Is he leaving the show? Seems like they are setting that up.

Edna was setting up tom to rape him, giving him a strong drink (which, who knows if it was JUST a drink) encouraging him to take it to bed, at the end of the episode she sneaks into his room.

It is not a violent rape like what happened to poor Anna, but when you get someone drunk and then sneak into their room...yeah, that's rape. It's like what happens on college campuses. You can't get someone drunk and sneak into their room and sleep with them, that's not consensual.
