Sorry you're not as pumped for planning right now. I understand the depression. It's kind of kicking my butt still too.

It's been one crappy thing after another here since we've been back. I really wish things would turn around. First Hannah, then the storm completely destroyed my gazebo in the back yard about a week and a half ago, then the pool got messed up, and after getting the pool repaired and going Joe fell in it vacuuming on Wednesday (has never had that happen in 10 years) and ruined his I-Phone. We have spent so much money since we've been back on stupid, crazy stuff. If it weren't for the Reunion this weekend I'd probably be in bed crying.

Sorry about your gazebo and I've already told you how awful the news on Hannah was. I can sure relate to so much going wrong since you got back. It's been the same for us too. Life was crazy before we left and is still drama filled since we got back . I'm ready to be in bed crying too. Wish I were able to go back to Disney soon, because that doesn't help matters does it? Hope you are feeling better soon.

Hey Leanne!! I found ya!! I haven't been on much either, been busy with Chris's advancement, him getting ready to move, Tyler getting out of school, just stuff on top of stuff on top of MORE stuff!! GREAT TR so far, did ya'll ever make it to the beach??

here's the update I promised...

So after CRT we decided to hit a few rides. The rain was brutal. A constant downpour. So on go the ponchos and we are off. We did the highlights of fantasyland on Saturday evening so we thought we'd head over to HM. The line was short only a 10 minute wait. We went to park the stroller when we noticed this..

So Josie and I stood underneath a carport like thing they had near Haunted Mansion. She rested fairly peacefully. After Joe and Lindsey got off the ride we headed over to POTC. By the time we got over there Josie woke up and was ready to go. As usual we loved it!

Next we Joe and Lindsey were ready to try BTMR and SM. We had just enough time for them to ride it before we needed to head up front for the girls' surprise storybook experience.

Lindsey loves both of those rides as does Joe. They had a good time. While they were doing that, Josie and I perused Brer Rabbit's and the shops in Frontierland. I let her pick out some candy (her favorite).

We then headed up front to Expo Hall for the Storybook Experience. Since we booked through AAA we were entitled to this experience for free. The only thing I really knew about it was that a face character was going to read a book to the kids.

We made it in plenty of time, checked in and while we waited we got some autographs and hugs from these two...

We only waited about 5 minutes and they let us into the little theatre. Josie and Lindsey had no idea what was in store. They were pretty excited. It wasn't long until we would meet our storyteller. It was SNOW WHITE! The girls were so excited. All of the children went "OOOOOOOOOHHHHH" when she came in the room.

After she finished reading the story (which wasn't her story by the way) she spent 10-15 minutes with each child talking to them, hugging them, and making them feel really special. It was so cool and a very teary moment.

When the girls got done, we could hear the rain and decided that we would play around in expo hall for awhile. We took these...

When they finished with all the cutouts we went outside and met Chip and Dale. The sweetest CM was handling them. She had a notebook and asked the girls for their autographs. It was so cute. Josie just made a big scribble but she really acted like she knew how to sign her name. Too cute.

After all of that was done, the girls really, really, really wanted to meet the fairies so we headed to ToonTown. The wait to see the fairies said 90 minutes. Luckily it was only about 45. I bought some snacks and we ate those while we waited. It helps Josie to pass the time.

It wasn't too long and we met these ladies. I have to say that Pixie Hollow is very neat. We really enjoyed it.

We rode a few more rides and said Hi to Mary again. Everyone was pretty wore out so we headed back to the buses and CBR. We were in the room about 10 minutes when our little princesses fell fast asleep. They refused to let me take out the pins and the princess hair. Despite the rain we had a very lovely day.

Thanks Connie! Lindsey had a great little birthday and we are getting our things together to go camping this weekend. Josie has never been so keep your fingers crossed!

Oh my goodness, bless your heart. I am still sad about Hannah. I didn't know a storm got your gazebo. It has been one thing after another for you. I hope this weekend and the camping goes well.

I'm starting to feel a little better. I guess time will tell. I've been working really hard and staying super busy so that is helping to keep my mind off things a bit. I wish I could afford another trip now. I feel like I never left. I hope things start to settle down for you too. Take care of yourself girl!

Also, Chris is moving, I ain't!! We bought a house here, and don't want to sell it! Plus, I don't want to have to find another job right now!! He's only going to miami, so not too bad!! He got his advancement the end of may, but don't get the pay raise until July 1st, not too bad I guess. I gotta finish sewing stuff on uniforms...the ONLY job of a military spouse I HATE!!! But, it's good money, and he'll be deployed alot, so staying here was a great idea for everyone involved.

DH and I went into expo hall when we were there in May, and we could find the prop area. I was really hopeing too, but no luck Do they not have it open at all times?

I did not know about Expo hall; now, I remember reading something about it in the AAA papers I had gotten. But, we used a military deal so that would have been a no go. Snow White was great with Ashton also (same girl) she even understood him when he told her his name (that was a FIRST) . All the pics are really great and Joe even did a great job on BTMR! (I know it's hard to do mine are normally blurred) Love the one of Josie sleeping and both the girls knocked out at the end of the day. Doesn't look as if anything would have woke them!

Have a great camping weekend! I'm sure Josie will have a blast!

Thanks Christie! The rain was a bit of a bummer but we managed to make the best of it. The girls are little angels....WHEN THEY"RE SLEEPING!

Hi Leanne! The cut outs would be closed when the storybook experience was going on but should be open any other time. You just go to the very back and around the corner to the right. It's in an odd place and can be closed off by a curtain. The cutouts are cute. When we were there earlier that day it was open and Mary Poppins was standing in the doorway to the area. Too bad you didn't get to check them out but now you'll have something fun to look forward to.

Thanks Nichole! We did a lot this trip. I think the positive thing about the rain is that waits were pretty short and we took time to check out a lot of things we never stopped to check out before.

I"m so glad that Ashton is doing well. Kids bounce back so fast. I really enjoy camping. It was hot here too but we have some battery operated fans that make things much more comfortable. It was fun to relax.

The Junior Miss pageant was here Saturday night and Kentucky won. I don't remember the last time Alabama won it......

GREAT REVIEW!! I had no idea about that story reading experience, clearly I'm not as much of an expert as I thought I was

The pics of the girls are beautiful, there is nothing that calms me more than watching a child sleep, I love how they look. I have a ton of pics of my DD sleeping when she was youngity's harder to find that when they're 16, probably because I'm in bed far earlier than her
