Downpours, DIS meets, and the Dining Plan - Our Week at WDW May 16-23 Final Thoughts

Sounds like a really fun first day!
It was a great day!

I'm here, let the party begin!!!

The girls look so excited to be at Disney! They are so ADORABLE! :lovestruc You and joe aren't too shabby yourselves!!

You guys had a great 1st day! You were able to get a lot of stuff done! I've never eaten at 1900 PF, but after seeing the pictures, Emily said she wants to go there and meet Cinderella's husband!!

Can't wait to see more!
Thanks Wendy! I noticed your new ticker and raced over to your TR. I'm so happy for you!:banana:

Wow, that sunset is amazing! Love your TR so far:) Your girls are adorable!
Thanks so much and welcome to my TR! :welcome:

im in cant wait to read more
Thanks for joining in! :welcome:

love the sunset shot...your boat ride sounds like our detour from epcot to DTD--LOL!!
as always great pics we missed Spectro maybe next time...
Missing attractions just gives you more reasons to go back. We actually caught Spectro twice on this trip. Last year we didn't see it or Wishes. Every trip you see and experience new things...that's why I love WDW! :lovestruc

Great pics from 1900 Park Fare! We went there last summer and my 3 year old niece was sitting next to me and kept saying "Auntie, I'm really afraid of the wicked stepmother" to which I reply,"oh don't worry honey, I'm way meaner than her":lmao:

This clearly calmed her because when she finally did come over to the table, my little darling's little hand found mine, she looked up at the wicked stepmother and said this is my auntie!!:worship: Took us every ounce of strength not to burst out laughing; she knew her auntie would look after her:love: You can't buy moments like that!!

Can't wait for your next installmentpopcorn::

We should have taken some pics of Josie and Bolt playing the piggy bank game. They were so cute lugging that thing around.

There is no doubt that you watch your children...at first I thought maybe you thought we were crazy or something...:lmao: Then I realized you were just making sure they behaved. You're definitely a good Mom. :goodvibes

Well the baby has ran away many times. Believe it or not he didn't try anything that whole trip. I was so proud. I'm thinking he's finally over it. I hope. In March he nearly broke my knee when he bolted. Not much can keep me away from the parks but that fall did.

Have you noticed every time you hear something about a child gone missing it's in FL. That state is full of sex offenders. I watch my kids like a hawk all the time but especially there. You saw.

I feel so bad...I take pictures of toilets but I didn't take a single one of the kids and their pigs! :headache:

That's what we love about Disney - all those special moments. What a cute story! :goodvibes

:lmao::lmao: I have noticed they have a lot of high profile child missing cases.

Well if you read the tail end of my PTR you know we came home from vacation to find our very old lab had a tumor between her shoulder and her rib cage. She underwent surgery last week. Well this morning, I couldn't get the old girl to move. She was sitting in a pile of drool, panting like crazy. I fantically called the vet and they had me bring her in. They carried her in on a stretcher because we couldn't get her to move.

Well the doc took an x-ray and she has some fluid in her lungs. She is running a fever of 104.4. The vet feels it is either an infection or a mast cell granulating (more cancer). They are keeping her and trying some heavy antibiotics and pain therapy. If the fluid reduces by tomorrow it is an infection if not it is definitely cancer and tomorrow will be a very bad day for the family. This old girl is a big part of our family. I hate to think that we spent all of that money last week to make her feel worse. Poor baby is feeling bad for sure. My heart is breaking. :sad1:

 It is so hard seeing our pets suffer and wondering if we are doing the right thing for them. I have been there and I know exactly how you all are feeling. I'll be thinking of you all and hoping for the best.

I am so sorry to hear about your pup  We had to put our 15yo pound pup down the week we got back from WDW. She had pancreatitus and anemia. We did fluids and heavy antibiotics and she got worse also. It is very hard to go through, because they are a part of the family. I wish you the best in whatever the outcome may be. Be sure to keep us posted

Awww I'm so so sorry to hear about your baby. That's a sin.

I'm really loving your TR. The caribbean beach is my favorite moderate. I love it. Your pictures are great!

I want to try 1900 park fair some day!

It's with a very sad heart that I tell you that Hannah passed away this afternoon. The vet says she was doing pretty good before lunch but starting fighting to breathe shortly afterwards. When he called he told us we wouldn't make it in time and he was right. Joe has her and is on his way to bury her at his family's farm. We're all very, very sad. Thanks everyone for the kind words.

Hannah was a great dog and a great friend. She will always have a special place in our hearts. :sad1:
