Joe thinks I will never make it past May of next year. Despite the rain this year we really love May. After all of that I can say....I just don't know yet when I'm going but it will be at a monorail resort for sure.

We love the drive in. We have two that are pretty close. One is 20 minutes away and the other is 45 minutes away. $12 per carload so you can't beat that! Two people can't see a movie at a theatre for that.

Things will be much more complicated in Fall of 2010 because both of the girls will be in school.

I think it would be cool for the girls to celebrate their birthdays at the parks. Joe has gotten to the last two years. This year was weird with the rain. I swear I've gone in May in 2003, 2006, 2007, and 2008 and on all of those trips we were rained on once last year for about an hour. This year was so weird. I've been so spoiled the previous 4 trips that I hate to change because of this one. I don't know what to do...

I have plenty of time to figure it out though...LOL.

Wonder what convention is so popular that expensive rooms are already booked for Sept 2010???

OMG poor baby. Well you see how I watch mine. I watch them a little too well. I don't want them hurting other kids or themselves. I've heard some bad stories about that pirate pool. Similar to yours. I think Nic even had a bad one from their last visit if I remember correctly.

Oh...we had a thing when we got home where you can play the piggy bank game at home! We haven't yet, sure it's not as fun without carrying around the pig...but it looked cute.

I should clarify that 1900 Park Fare for us was wonderful but mostly because of the impeccable service we received. The food is just buffet food nothing special really. Typical Disney buffet food - not nasty or anything just not mouthwatering/outstanding. It was the special treatment of my girls that made this a great place for us. The characters interacted for quite some time with our girls and our waiter was top notch. Here are the pics of the girls with the characters here:

I really like this one...look at Josie's amazement. We were so happy that she interacted with the characters this year. Last year she wouldn't have anything to do with them.

I love this one...what a face huh??

Anastasia led a silly parade around the dining room...Lindsey really enjoyed this.

After dinner we strolled through GF and decided to take the boat to MK for the Spectro Meet. BIG MISTAKE. The boat took about an hour to get to MK. We stopped everywhere but MK...LOL. Oh well, it was a nice ride and we know for next time right.

So we rushed over to Aloha Isle for the DIS meet. We ended up being about 20 minutes late because of the boat ride. I didn't see anyone I recognized so we headed to find a spot for Spectro. I had already been texting Mary (MaryAZ) so I left the kids and Joe at a great viewing location and met up with Mary and her family. Our girls immediately hit it off. Mary has a great family and we really enjoyed spending time with them!

Anyway afterwards, MK was having some unpublished EMH's so we got to ride some rides with little to no wait. We hung out with Mary and her family. We rode the Jungle Cruise, Aladdin's carpets, Small World, Dumbo, the carousel, and maybe something else but I don't remember...LOL. We were all pretty wore out so we headed back to the room.

We should have taken some pics of Josie and Bolt playing the piggy bank game. They were so cute lugging that thing around.

There is no doubt that you watch your children...at first I thought maybe you thought we were crazy or something... Then I realized you were just making sure they behaved. You're definitely a good Mom.

That is too bad that you missed the meet. You must have arrived shortly after we left to get our spots for Spectro. We were all over in Frontierland near Country Bears.

Too funny! We were in Frontierland by the DVC stand not too far from Country Bears. I never did get a Dole Whip. I guess I have something to look forward to next year.

You guys had a great 1st day! You were able to get a lot of stuff done! I've never eaten at 1900 PF, but after seeing the pictures, Emily said she wants to go there and meet Cinderella's husband!!
