Downloading Disney Ringtones

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but do any DVC members download Disney ringtones. I know Disney has a few, as does Cingular my carrier, but I am looking for When you wish upon a star for a Motorola V551. It is polyphonic so I don't know if monophonic will work.

Any suggestions?

do you have the "get it now" option on you phone? If you do go there and look for ringtones. You will see the disney logo.

We are using verizon and just got new samsung phones a few months ago. About 6 weeks or so ago they finally got Disney on our "get it now". Needless to say I have been going crazy downloading ringtones and wallpapers.

I just upgraded my Verizon phone and was able to get the Disney ringtones through the Get It Now option. So now my phone rings to the tune of "Belle"! They've got a great selection. You can choose between "regular" Disney songs and Disney-Pixar songs.

The pricing is about $2 for one song, $4 or $5 for 3 songs, I think. Could be off a bit on those numbers.

We have T-Mobile on a Samsung phone, and can get lots of Disney ringtones. I have Zip-a-dee-doo-dah as one of mine, as well as the Small World theme and Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious. When youn wish upon a star was not one of our possibilities, tho it would be a good one, wouldn't it?

You have to register at a website that Cingular uses for ringtones (http://www.infospace.com/cnglr.en/smsapp/catalog.htm?pgtarg=wireless&tts=20050204194332) I couldn't get the ringtones to download correctly through the internet (to my phone) but a friend was able to go through my phone and download the ones I wanted.

Now my phone rings to I'm on my way from Brother Bear.

It was so much easier with AT&T.

I have Cingular. Where do I go to download songs?

You can also go to "media mall" in your menu right on your phone and do it I was having trouble doing it on my computer I have to fix something in my firewall or something So I ended up doing it right from my phone. I actually found it easier....only catch is that you can not listen to the ringtone before purchasing...but...if you know what song your downloading ahead of time (which I did) it's not a problem

By the way, thanks so much everyone!! I wouldn't have thought to go and do this if not for this thread. I now have "Hawaiian rollercoaster ride" from "Lilo and Stitch" for a ringtone!! So cool! I'm so impressed with myself that I figured out how to do it lol

For those who have never used musical ring tones I do have one warning. They are very hard to hear sometimes. I have a Buzz Light Year ring tone and I love it, but if you are anywhere there is noise you can't hear it.

We just got new Samsung phones a week or so ago. I found all of the Disney ringtones. I would like to set up a bunch of them for different people. So far, I have to have Fantasmic! when my husband calls from his cell phone and Reflection when someone calls me from home. That was the only requirement I had of the new phone, had to have Disney ringtone ability.

Thanks for this thread. I have get it now by Verizon, never looked into it, and today me, the technically challenged one downloaded "Under the Sea". So cool! I know the download is $1.99, what other charges are there?

I have Sprint, and the Disney ringtones are 2.50 for 98 days. I have a Pirates life, A dream is a wish your heart makes, and when DH calls Goofy says "Hey, your phones ringing, come back come back where ever you are"

I just loaded "Under The Sea" and the Mickey & Minnie Easter wallpaper from Disney...the ringer is to remind me of our Sept. DVC cruise.

I think it's time for me to upgrade my Verizon cell. I don't have the get it now package and I really want to get it now! My phone doesn't do anything Disney

You pay once but if you delete it you must pay again to download it.

I have a verizon LG 6000. I bought at data cable to connect it to the computer and downloaded a free program called bitpim. I can now take any midi or mp3, cut it down to size and send it right to the phone - no charge. I have the electric water parade, indiana jones, grim grinning ghosts, carousel of progress, one little spark and a lot more.

I would love to get a new phone and have a great disney ring.....

I really do not want to change carriers ... I like the service for nextel.

Edited: with Verizon it says for example 3 use purchase?
what does this mean... 3 rings and you purchase again or to purchase
3 different rings or screensavers????
