Downgrading Dining Plan

I just realized that the DxDP is A LOT of food!! I was planning on booking reservations for 2TS restaurants/shows to get the most out of it. It then hit me that most of them are out of the way and, to put it bluntly, a PITA to get to without a car.

This has already been addressed before, but I just wanted a little more specific answers to my questions. Btw, I'm not on a free dining plan (I went with 40% off room price instead). I haven't paid in full yet either, only the $200 deposit fee.

1. Will I be charged a fee if I want to downgrade? From what I read, I won't be as long as it's not within 45 days or less.
2. Will my total vacation package price change? It's the only reason I want to downgrade afterall, to save money!

1. No fee if it's more than 45 days out.
2. Yes, you should be discounted the difference between the plan costs.
