Even though the long range forecasts are showing nice weather, that can change 10 times before we arrive - so we are still bringing our rain gear. I work in the insurance industry and I find being prepared is often the best insurance you can buy.

Weather appears to be nice though for those there right now. Even here in Calgary, in the north where it should be much colder than it is - it's been in the mid to high 40s and got up to 60 this past week so it's almost like why do we need to go somewhere with palm trees having such a mild winter?

The good news about Disneyland though is it's not about the weather - it's about Disney - so even if it rains or is cooler, we'll still have fun. I am almost hoping for at least one day of rain when we are there as we saw such low crowds our last trip when it was wet but will take whatever we get! :umbrella::sunny::beach:

I'm in Disneyland right now and the weather has been perfect. Not a cloud in the sky. It's supposed to cool off today, it's been in the 90s. The people from here are dying for rain. It's so dry.

We were there two years ago when they go some rain, but of course not nearly as much as was hoped due to the serious drought conditions. I certainly know not to complain if it does rain when I am there due to the circumstances. 90s is hot - I like mid 70s - that is very comfortable park weather because inside that park, especially DCA, it feels HOT when it's in the 90s.

Have fun-and yes we need rain-and a bit on your trip could lessen the crowds. Some of our most memorable trips involved torrential downpours.

Weather now is beyond fantastic. I think you will find so cal does not have surprises. If the 7 day shows all clear you can leave the rain gear at home

I agree, at this point, you can ditch the rain gear. Rain is not likely to pop up in the forecast less than 10 days. The dates of rain can shift, it can get heavier or lighter, but it won't materialize. That's how SoCal works.
