Down time before flight after cruise

After disembarkation from our Royal Caribbean cruise at Cape Liberty, our flight home isn’t until 6:00 pm from La Gaurdia. Any suggestions on what to do before we can check our luggage in at 2?

I'm not sure about luggage storage, but if you have the chance, I would get off the ship later and grab lunch in Murray Hill, home to a lot of good Korean restaurants. There are also several things to do in Flushing Meadows Park.

Closer to the port, there's Ellis Island and Liberty State Park. If you want to see Manhattan, you can grab lunch in Little Italy or Chinatown.

Where could they store luggage at liberty state park?

Maybe there is a shuttle excursion that goes to manhattan and then LGA? I can’t this of anything local to Bayonne to store luggage.

The Liberty Science Center might. I know some other museums in the city do.

You'd most likely need to go somewhere like Penn Station or Grand Central to store bags. If you're just doing lunch and have reasonable luggage, you can probably just bring it.

Yea, I would look for an excursion just because of the luggage.

Would a hotel be willing to store the bags with luggage services (maybe for a fee), even if you're not a guest there?
