Of course the best news of all....I weighed in yesterday...didn't gain a single pound while away WOOT WOOT!! Of course this morning it was very hard for me to get up, so no workout but I'm going to get myself back on track with that tomorrow!!!!!
I'm also looking forward to future trips!!! I'm going to be joining up with the girls at the end of April/May and then I'll be going back for a longer trip at the end of May into June....then I'll have to hold off on Disney for awhile LOL!!!!!!
Everyone stay warm and stay safe!!!!
I was so exhausted on that first day. I think because I was awake so early to get to the airport that I just hit that point where nothing was appealing to me. I'm glad I took the time to relax because I was refreshed and ready for the next day.Welcome home Jen!!Can't wait to hear about your trip....and the FOOD!! It is so hard for me coming home from a trip...as in finding something for lunch/dinner I am always thinking well if I was in Disney I would eat...
Looking forward to your new discovery!!!
Leslie Ughhhhhhhhh on the flightthankfully I have not had that happen to me!! ....omg that is so funny about the gum though...if someone comes to my desk and has bad breath I discretely find a piece of gum and start chewing on it....the smell takes away from their bad breath
Sounds like a nice walk around the lake....travel days can sometimes wear you out![]()
Tracy
I can barely get out of my driveway in my car, never mind trying to take a walk right now. Stupid snow banks. It was really nice to just take my time and explore Pop a little bit more.Welcome home to both of you!
LL you got some great pics. Sorry that you hit a wall so early in the trip but it must have been nice to get some exercise all by yourself at your own pace. I would love to be able to just take a long walk right now. My neighborhood is too dangerous. I'm terrified that someone is going to come around from behind a snowbank and hit me![]()
I was quite proud that I didn't lose it after the puke. I had to really calm myself down so it wouldn't happen!Welcome home Jen! I hope you had a fabulous time!
LL - OMG to the puke! I am also a reflex puker when I see that. Never lost that reflex despite two kids and plenty of puke clean up.
OK - enough of that. Wowsa - You really got a great workout with all your walking. That's fabulous. I am glad you had such a nice quiet relaxed first day.
I did have a few days just to sit at home and relax and it was just what I needed. It also has me convinced that I was meant to be a housewife.Welcome back ladies!!!
LL, I'm sorry to hear about being Disneyed-out/hitting the wall, but sounds like you did just the right thing that you needed to. Did you have a few days off to just relax and get things done at home too?
YUCK about the puker on the bus!!!!!!That had to be awful for everyone, thank goodness you had gum with! Ugh. Aside from that, sounds like a very lovely and relaxing first day - that's the best way to start it.
Looking forward to more highlights from you both!! And the contest!
She was mortified but then let some stranger pick it up! I couldn't believe it and then she goes on to say she gets very motion sick....why wouldn't you rent a car instead of rely on Disney transportation? I was terrified I was going to encounter her on a bus again since she was staying at Pop!Oh that poor woman getting sick on the bus. She must have been mortified. Definitely not the way anyone wants to begin vacation!
Otherwise sounds like a delightful and relaxing day!!
The bowling alley detail on the pool is very neat. I would never have noticed that!!
I think it was really the first time I went for walk just to explore the resort. It was really nice and I'm going to have to make sure I do it more often.Hey Jen, welcome back! Sounds like you had a great time. Can't wait to hear your point of view too.
LL, sounds like a challenging first day, but the walk around the resort sounds like a highlight. It is a great walk. You said it was a Disney first for you- do you mean at Pop or in the resorts in general?
I have been very lucky to go to WDW often but I think I just have too many other things on my mind lately.Oh NO! A puker! {YUCK!}
The poor woman! I'd be MORTIFIED!
Poor BUS full of people... I hope everyone had gum!
I'm just impressed that you've been able to go to WDW enough to hit a wall... lucky!
On the way back to my room I looked closely at the Pop 50's pool.

I noticed that the pool deck is themed to be bowling lanes! It even has the little arrows. I decided that the blue-ish part must be the bumpers that inflate. Do you agree?
Welcome back ladies!!!
Jen, CONGRATS on not gaining any weight!!!!!That is AWESOME! Did you work out every morning like you planned? I've been back on WW since December, so I'm a tad nervous about our upcoming trip. I'm going in with a better mentality this time, I do plan to indulge, but not completely give-way to it all and make myself sick like I did before...and ended up de-railing myself completely. I also hope to fit in a few workouts, swimming, and a run or two. I'd love to read a food report from ya! Share any tips/advice!
Looking forward to more highlights from you both!! And the contest!

Welcome home Jen! Can't wait to hear about your highlights! Woot for not gaining any weight!
Impressive. I think I hold my own when in Disney World, because I move a lot more. I need to just move to WDW so I would move all the time!!!
I am glad you have some upcoming fun trips planned.![]()
I couldn't believe it when I noticed the lanes, I love how Disney takes it that extra mile when they theme their resorts!welcome back ladies...looking forward to hearing about all your highlights....
I knew the pool was shaped like a bowling pin when we were just there in Nov. but totally missed the lanes...great catch and pix!
I bet we have more....No School on a Friday WOOT WOOT!!!!!!! Of course we have to make it up on Memorial Day but I will worry about that in May!! Right now this lady is going back to bed for awhile and then going to workout!!!! I will post a picture later of how much snow we got...yes I said snow in Texas unbelievable I heard it could happen!!! I haven't seen this much snow in YEARS!!!!!!!!!!
Have a Happy Friday Everyone!!!!
I'm completely addicted to Sex and the City, it's a little bit crazy actually. When I'm home doing things around the house or reading or whatever it's always on in the background and I have to watch it in order, no skipping episodes so I just keep cycling through it, with the movies of course. I found out on Amazon yesterday that those deleted scenes are on the Deluxe Edition of the first movie dvd, so I'm totally buying it.Welcome back, ladies!
LL, I have to laugh because I'm a closet Sex and the City addict as well. :lmao
Although, technically speaking I just outed myself.
Okay, I'm going to stop right there. This is what happens when I'm overtired.

The snow in the NE is unbelievable! We were out two days last week and have more snow predicted next week.
I just hope we can go to school!
Jen, have fun with yours. Did you go out and make a snow angel?
