Change is good, especially at Disney. None were made on a whim and al will improve the overall experience.

Change is very good! I'm very excited about all the changes we have made and our ADRs....oooh I cannot wait to eat where we are going to eat LOL!!!!!

I too am so glad that we were able to work out the dates!!! I would have been very sad to have to go on this trip without Leslie or cancel it!!!

I leave Tuesday afternoon! So I'm going to spend my morning getting fudge and making sure it doesn't get soaked this time around LOL!

...When I went back to school last Thursday I learned that my first Clinical class starts in December, it ends January 22nd...when I would be at Disney....I woke up Friday morning, with one thought in my head. We could push the trip back a week.

I am SO glad you were able to figure out dates that work. Isn't it funny how something can be right there in front of your face and you don't see it? Thank goodness you slept on it.

Yes that was one the one sad part we came to realize, with our date changes it meant we wouldn't be able to meet 7 very fabulous ladies and that makes me sad!!!!

Thanks I'm so glad we were able to work it out too!!!!!! I was upset that evening too trying to figure out if I really wanted to go all by myself or just call it and go later!

Hello everyone and welcome to the Great Movie Ride. This ride is a must do for both of us; it takes you from a Hollywood soundstage right into the middle of the action of the greatest films ever made. But if we’re going to be completely honest with you, the Great Movie ride isn’t just a regular tour; the movies come alive right before your eyes. And shhhhhhh….I’m going to share with you a trade secret…if you are lucky (which apparently only happens in January when you go with Leslie) you just might end up with a cowboy on board. (Here’s hoping!!)

Now, let’s visit one of Studios great musical productions from the 1990s…The Voyage of the Little Mermaid

This Leslie favorite stars your entire favorite under the sea characters including Ariel, Sebastian, Flounder, Scuttle, and even that nasty villain Ursula!!! The music, the adventure, the bubbles....it's one classic you can't afford to miss!

Hmmmmm…Hold on to those Veras and cameras folks, looks like we’re entering into a shady neighborhood.

This looks a lot like Pixar Place, the home to crazy monkeys in the barrel, little aliens, big green army men, and a large talking potato (He’s a WANTED tater). We’re not quite sure if this is some sort of animated comedy or a badly made horror movie. So it’s best that while you’re in this part of the Studios that you keep your eyes open because you never know what might POP out at you.

Hey look, the star of Pixar Place Toy Story Mania! This is definitely a must do experience!! And this brings us to our next genre, the Sports Flick. Just like any good sports film, there’s great music and great action but be warned TSM is not for the faint of heart, it’s a hardcore competitive ride from beginning to end. Feel free to make your bets on who will end up the ultimate champion. My money is on the dirty blonde from Texas, her accuracy stinks, but she’s got a mighty fast trigger finger, but don’t count out the gorgeous blonde from the big MA, I hear she’s out for some revenge and that makes her a very dangerous opponent! Excitement, edge of your seat anticipation, laughter (and maybe some tears LOL) this is definitely one ending you aren’t going to want to miss!!!

Toto, I've a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore. How often do you get to say that?

Honestly?????? When you are a girl born and raised in Kansas, a lot more often than you think!!!!

Now we are entering the part of the park that takes you to a whole new world (cue Aladdin music). Okay well it’s not a whole new world, more like a bunch of different cities, but a trip through DHS wouldn’t be complete with at stop at the elaborately detailed Streets of America! Here we can be the kung fu stars in front of the Chinese Laundry or play uninformed tourists who want to book a trip to Disney (that one would be very hard for either of us to “act” out). However, this is a feel good stop, a Disney classic! You won’t regret a moment of your time!

Well, we’re about ready to wrap up this delightful foray into Disney Hollywood Studios, because well I’m hungry. So…..

I wonder how we get out of here. What do you folks think? Which way should we go?

It serves the best the cheesecake on property…….

Every great movie deserves a happy ending and we end ours with a fantabulous meal at The Hollywood Brown Derby!! YUMMY!!!! Polenta, cheesecake, cobb salad….hmmmmm so can’t wait!!!!!!!! This gets TWO THUMBS up in our book!!!!

Well guys sadly to say at some point all good things have to come to an end! I hope you've enjoy this tour through some of the greatest attractions at the Disney Hollywood Studios. But we've only scratched the surface of what Hollywood has to offer. There are still thousands of other great memories and moments out there waiting for you to discover and create!!!

Great job on this update, Jen, and I, too, love DHS! You have covered all my favorites -- well, almost all of them, but Star Tours is closed for their refurb so I will forgive you.

Now, I want to eat at the Brown Derby again! Their food is just so tasty! Yum!
