Would love some opinions. I'm starting to doubt my plan and considering changing things up. This is what I have currently:

  • Arrive Saturday - No park, Staying at Contemporary have dinner at Narcoossees
  • Sunday - Magic Kingdom - Originally this day kind of picked itself I got a firework dessert party. But then I changed our hotel to a split stay and got a theme park view room at the Contemporary. So I could drop the dessert party and watch fireworks from our room and then possibly change the day we go to Magic Kingdom all together. I do have dinner at Be Our Guest though.
  • Monday - Epcot. We switch hotels to the Boardwalk this day too. It's Veterans Day so might be really crowded. It's also our first anniversary. I had tried to get Victoria and Albert's reservations for this night, but it wasn't available.
  • Tuesday - Animal kingdom - Have a tour with the rhinos booked and dinner at Victoria and Albert's this night.
  • Wednesday - Hollywood Studios - Plan to do crazy rope drop for Star Wars, which makes me hesitant about Victoria and Albert's the night before since it usually goes really late. We have dinner at Ravello at the Four Seasons to see the hotel
  • Thursday - Lunch at Disney Springs and then drive home.
Should I keep things as is or change things up? What should I change?

If your paying for the theme park view for a single night I personally would watch the fireworks from there. (unless that room type is normal for you)

You could easily do a little "picnic" in the hotel room and watch the fireworks with wine and all of that prior to the fireworks.

As far as switching days there is all sorts of possibilities. In the end there isn't a right answer.

D1: Dinner
D2: AK / Fireworks from room
D3: Epcot / Switch to boardwalk
D4: HS / V+A
D5: Magic Kingdom

If you could switch it so the contemporary was on your last night's you switch AK and HS and would be closer to V+A then.

I’d keep your MK day because one of the best parts of staying at CR is being able to walk to MK. We also have a TPV booked for CR next month and planned most of our nights to be in the room to watch fireworks. I love fireworks from inside the park, but being able to watch from a private balcony and go to bed right after is the best view of all IMO.

My plan is to cancel the dessert party if I keep the theme park view room. Was thinking of downgrading it to save some money, but I do like the idea of watching the Holiday fireworks from there since we aren't doing the Christmas party. I'm just worried I put park days on their busiest days, especially with the holiday weekend.
