we are staying here in july (really wanted hard rock but funds wouldnt allow!)
i want to get to wdw does anyone out there know if they do a shuttle or prices/options
carnt seem to find any info anywhere else

No shuttle but you can arrange your owns through Mears. They only provide a shuttle to Universal, Sea World and Wet 'n Wild.

Just wanted to let you know we stayed at the doubletree at Downtown disney last time we were there ans it was GREAT!! the room was huge, the staff were super nice (Even had a tin of cookies and milk waiting in our room when they found out it was my daughters birthday) so you will be pleasantly surprised.

found one on trip advisor but quite a few yrs old

It is around $20 return. You get can a quote from them using their reservation system.

looks like mears would be cheaper!!
