DoubleTree outside downtown Disney??

Anyone ever stayed at the Doubletree Orlando outside of Down Town Disney. It’s been a stressful couple month at work and I want to take my wife to Disney, but not spend allot of money for a Disney resort. I already made dinner plans at California Grill and Tommy Bahama on International drive.

Just curios if anyone has stayed at Double Tree.

I've never stayed there but I looked at it last year when booking my trip for this year. I think the prices were about the same as some of the Disney resort hotels except you don't get all the extra's that you would get at a Disney resort. So, we just decided to find a resort instead.

I think this is now the Orlando Vista. From what I hear it's nice. I pricelined it for two nights after our disney stay for $45 or so.

Its great, cheaper and you get transportation to the parks to. I recommend it 100%
