Doubletree DTD or Embassy LBV

I am trying to decide which of these 2 hotels to stay at. I tend to be partial to Embassy since I like their room layouts and the free breakfast is nice. However, their shuttles don't allow you to return or go back to the parks in the middle of the day, which we may need to do for naps. But they say they are only a mile from the parks, so I am wondering if we can just take a taxi for the times we need to do that. My other concern is that the Embassy is not near anything, so if my husband or I wanted to walk to a store of restaurant to pick something up to bring back after our daughter goes to sleep, we wouldn't really have that option. Doubletree seems to have the best of everything, my only concern is if it will be as nice as Embassy and are the shuttles really every half hour and as good as they say they are. Anyone who has stayed at one or both and has some input, please let me know!

I've stayed at the Doubletree several times and the bus service is very good. At the very least you could take a bus to DTD from the parks and walk to the Doubletree or take a taxi for a few dollars. After 6:00pm there is a shuttle to DTD. You can walk across the street to the grocery store for supplies. Also it is easy for a family to split up as you can walk to DTD, Disney Quest, take a bus to the parks. Very convient. The pool is nice and has towels. Check in staff very nice. The rooms are good with a microvave and fridge.

We have stayed at the DT DTD several times and the rooms have alot of space and close to DTD and Shopping center with grocery store/restaurants. Nice pool area, but food (especially B'fast) is over priced and not very good. Embassy's b'fast is so much better.
