I posted a few days ago that I am taking a "last minute" trip to Disney over Easter. Definitely NOT having a great time finding a place to meet my "princess" standards!;)

Anyway, I am hoping one of the vacation homes will come through for me, but in the meantime, I have book ressies at two different places and will decide which one later.

The first is the Doubletree Hotel right outside of Disney and the second is the SpringHill Suites in the Marriott Village. The SpringHill Suites are a bit cheaper. Both seemed to get decent reviews.

I thought about the Caribe Royale. It looks good on the website but had some fairly negative reviews on www.tripadvisor.com.

If anyone here has any thoughts on these, I'd appreciate them.

Thanks!

Stayed at Springhill Dec 06 and it was very nice.
-Breakfast plentiful and you could make your own waffles.
-Rooms clean, tidy and little/ no noise.
-Friendly staff.
-Pool reasonable size for occassional use.
-Restaurants within short walk.
Only slight minuses:
-No eating utensils in room.
-Room smaller than other suite hotels (lounge and bedroom all one room)
-Smaller fridge than other suite hotels.
By the way if you do go to Springhill, ask for a pool view room as some of the rooms facing the car park are very close to I-4!
Haven't stayed at Doubletree - always looks nice but again is very close to I-4 and SR535 if you get a room at the back of the resort.
Hope this helps.
Good Luck :thumbsup2
