Yes, and if that's not possible, you need to either lower the expectations, or learn to utilize what is available to the best of your ability. They simply cannot make a system that works for everyone, it's 100% impossible. But you're still blaming other people for getting the ADRs that you wanted. What if nobody else double or triple booked and you still couldn't get the restaurants you wanted? You'd then blame the overall ADR system for favoring 180+10 guests and not those who decided to come in a shorter time-frame than that.
Once again, you do not know who is and who is not 2x/3x booking. You are assuming that's the case based upon what you've read posted here by a mere handful of people. There are tens of thousands of people in WDW every day and most of them are not overbooking. Most of them don't even book at all. You are simply upset that you didn't get what you want and you're looking for a scapegoat. The truth is, you need to plan ahead better. That's all.
The system right now does work (for the majority) and they are constantly working on improvements that reduce the abuses while protecting those who use it correctly. It's NOT a fast process, they have to let things sit for months or more at a time to get a good handle on how it works from start to finish. It's just the way it is.
If they started making knee-jerk reactions to perceived issues, then the whole system would suffer miserably. That's how these types of things work. Tweak, wait, watch, review, repeat.
