Does anyone have any experience with the Zooper Tango? I've been doing research and it seems to have a lot of the features that I want. How does it compare to the Maclaren Twin Techno? We currently use a Mac Quest with DD and we like it.
THANKS!

I can't tell you about the first stroller you mentioned but we have the Maclaren Twin Techno and have taken it to Disney with us for two years in a row . It works out great because it has the rain cover and the seats recline , so if there's a sudden down pour which happens quite alot in Florida , your covered and if your child falls asleep it's comfortable for them to take a nap in. Only downfall I would have to say is that it's hard to navigate through the stores or a restaurant if need be .:)

I had a Zooper Tango and loved it. It had every feature I could want in a double stroller. So many storage options. Comfy full recline seats, great canopies, foot muff, etc...
It is heavy though. This was never really a problem for me. I felt that it was sturdier than the Macs or other double side by sides.
I recently sold mine, since we hardly ever use a stroller anymore though. But it was the one stroller out of a dozen I have owned, that I LOVED.

Thanks for the input. I want to find a store locally that sells Zoopers so I can "test drive."

I just sold my Zooper, and while it was a good stroller it was super heavy and did not fold all that well for travel.

I replaced it with a Baby Jogger City Mini double and am in love, it is much lighter and easier for travel.

Never tried the first one but I loved my Mac Twin Techno. It folded easy and was light so easy to travel with. My girls are 6 and 4 now so I never use it anymore...debating on whether to take it to DLR this summer.

Hands down Baby Jogger City Mini Double! This stroller is the best. Lightweight, super easy and flat fold, huge seats, and of course can't beat the canopies!

It also pushes and turns on a dime - Hard to believe this stroller doesn't have air tires! I found it much easier than double umbrella strollers (including the maclaren) Can you tell I love it!!!!!!!:rotfl:

Ooooh a new option. I hadn't really thought about the baby jogger city double. I have a few questions:
1. Do the seats recline flat?
2. When I look at kids sitting in them, they look too leaned back. Can the kids sit up straight?
3. Is the sun shade able to be pulled all the way down for dark naps?
Thanks!

Odds are that you aren't going to find a store that sells zoopers locally since the company is going out of business. On another not I have a peg aria twin and a combi while not the same strollers you have mentioned I like the push better on the combi b/c of the wheels in the middle.

we have a single zooper. we also have a double maclaren.
HANDS DOWN i will always buy maclaren from here on out!!! the zooper always ... and i mean for years ... stumped me...often i would leave it fully assembled and throw it in the back of my van po'ed!!! the mac is so light and folds so nice and maneuevers well and i can do ANYWHERE with it and its a side by side!
i just ordered a new mac , the easy traveller snap-n-go type one for our newest addition ..
i am hooked!

I don't have the double but I do have a single the seat reclines flat. the seat is not a 90 degree seat but close so yes the sit up pretty straight. As for the sun shade not other stroller offers the sun shade that a bjcm does.

here are some photos of my dd5 sitting in it and one is w/ the sun shade pulled all the way down. Don't judge the seat by the way she sits in it she has low tone so she does kind of hang out in it.

Is the sun shade able to be pulled all the way down for dark naps? Better than any other stroller I have ever seen. and there are two sun windows in the top for peaking in and the back has mesh for peaking in when the seats are reclined.

You almost sold me on the baby jogger city mini double! On nagging concern that I have is that is isn't car seat compatible. I was going to use our Britax companion and the double doesn't have the capability to hold car seats yet.

I think they have solved that issue and are coming out with a car seat adaptor for the mini double - call Baby jogger - number is on their website. They could tell you when they are releasing it. The customer service agents are really nice and helpfully!:goodvibes

It is really a great stroller!
