On our next trip we will be traveling with a 2 1/2 year old and a 4 month old. At first I was just researching double strollers and trying to find a good lightweight one that would also be good for an infant. The other idea i'm toying with is bringing just DS's stroller (umbrella type, but a little sturdier) and having the baby in a carrier all the time. Is this even a feasible idea? Has anyone done this? I carried DS at night last June (way too hot to carry in the day) and he was also significantly heavier than the infant would be (well i hope anyway!) and I know it's a lot of work to wear them all day, but I havent done the world with one so small and was wondering if it wouldnt be as tough as I think? Would that outweigh the thought of having to purchase and fly with a double stroller? Any thoughts are appreciated..thank you!! :goodvibes
Oh and if it helps, we will be traveling in the end of Nov, early December

For us, it was best to have a double. They both took a lot of mini naps.

I would have a double stroller. I don't know if you are flying but if you need the umbrella for the travel then bring it, but then I would rent a double. We used Magic Stroller and LOVED the city mini double. I wish I new about that stroller with my 2nd and 3rd child. The price wasn't bad. I think I paid $90 for the week. They deliver it right to the hotel. We stayed offsite but they list all hotels they deliver it too. It was soooo clean. Love, love it.

IMO it's more work using a stroller. I think it makes wearing a baby so much easier....I've done both, had the big carseat/carrier with my 1st, big huge stroller, etc etc. Never again, lol. I know this doesn't really compare but we went for a weekend when my daughter was 4 months old to Niagara Falls and she was in my sling the whole time. It never bothered me at all....once she fell asleep, I'd position her so she was like cradled more instead of sitting. I know disneyworld is different because it's a bigger place and a longer vacation. I have a wrap for our baby and I may get another kind of carrier (an ergo possibly) before we go....plus we'll have the double for my older ones anyway, just in case I do need it for the baby. Anyway...really depends on you and how much of a baby wearer you are. I wouldn't purposely buy a stroller. If you really wanted one for disney you could just rent one. Good luck deciding!

Oh and I second the comment about magic strollers....used them last time. Very nice!

Double. Disney is exhausting and it's entirely possible you or baby would want a break from each other at times - a stroller would be a nice break for both of you.

DS was 7 months at our first trip and DD was almost 3 and i knew we would need a double so we bought a combi it folds up very small IMO for a double and i really like it. It is a sidebyside so that makes it a bit difficult to use at stores and such but i really like it
