I'm planning my first Disney World trip--Nov 19-23!

Can I bring/fit a double stroller on the Disney bus transportation???

Thanks.

I don't know what type of double stroller you have, but we have a Graco DuoGlider--a tandem, not side-by-side--and it is HUGE! We were worried about taking it on the buses but though it was a bit of a pain it ended up working out just fine. We always had it folded up securely just before the bus arrived, and once we boarded we tried to move to the back of the bus and to sit where we'd be out of the way as much as possible. After a few bus rides we got the process down to a science and it was no trouble at all.

BTW, DH was with our two kids and me; if it had been just me with the kids and double stroller on the bus it wouldn't have worked. If you don't have help, I'd say rent a car. :D

We also have a Graco DuoGlider with twin 7-month olds. We're going to Disney next week and will be taking the bus with our stroller and babies! My husband is willing to haul the stroller on and off the buses mainly because of the convenience we will have in the actual parks. Our babies will be comfy and we'll have a good-quality stroller to push with lots of storage.

Can the Duoglider go straight in or do I have to take the girls out. Since it is a tandum I was hoping that if they fall asleep I can let them sleep and wheel them right into the room that way. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks

Just spent a week in WDW with a Duo side by side stroller. The buses were a pain with it especially if you ended up having to stand. Just make sure you have it packed up before the bus arrives. The monorails worked out great as long as we were able to use the car designed for wheelchairs. Those cars were wide enough for our stroller.

You have to fold any stroller before boarding any bus. The girls will have to come out until you get off the bus and open the stroller. There are no exceptions. Even single strollers must be folded before getting on the bus. As someone else said, you can wheel them right on the monorail and also some boats.

Having a stroller and having to fold it can be a pain, whether single or double. BUT...........I would rather have the stroller than NOT. A bigger pain!!!!

We purchased a City Twinner by Baby Jogger. Same side by side double stroller used at MGM. We have 3 kids under 5 so the double is a must.

As far as folding up for the buses, I was worried about it before we went in September. But seriously, It was no problem at all. The canvas part of the stroller doesn't fold so it seems pretty big but it only weighs 15 lbs and I had no issue getting on or off the buses. Just tried to stay towards the back.

We'll be @ OKW in Jan. 04. Thanks for the input re: strollers. We may be driving which will make it a bit easier to get to & from the parks. Heard that some of the roads around OKW are tough to travel in the buses.

We spent a week off site in Oct. but visited all 4 parks w/ a tandem graco duo glider.

It was perfect that the back seat could be laid back for our 18 month old.

We had no problems on the ferry boat or the monorail. Was a bit of a tight fit on the trams though ... even though it was folded up.
