HI all!!

We are home and it is snowing!!
We had the most beautiful weather all week. It was perfect. The stroller is awaiting VBarry.

It has no accessories with it any longer. When I picked it up all they could find was the stroller. No bar, no rain cover, no sunshade.

We had a great time and maybe I will get to post a trip report later. I am exhausted we drove all night.

I'm glad you had a great trip! I'll be down at WDW in Jan and I'll make sure they dig up the accessories and reunited them with the stroller.

I found the stroller ticket, which is marked 1 piece so I'm sure that's the issue. But it's got enough info to dig up what happened to the bag with all the other pieces.

tinkermom23---if we fill in the gap of march to april you can have those dates.
It is tentative on that filling. I won't continue it with a month long gap.
So if anyone is interested in dates, or interested in taking over the swap, please let me know.

Also, if the swap is going to continue I am considering collecting to purchase a new stroller so if/when this one has used up its life we can put a new one in service.

We were expecting warmer in FLA than at home. And actually it was unseasonably cold at home while we were gone, so.... I just wasn't as prepared as I should have been. I somehow didn't pack socks for DS and I , so I bought him some and went without myself. I bought myself a zip up hoodie because I only had my rain jacket packed.

On the whole though, it was awesome and the kids loved it and want to go back. Financially it'll be a while before that happens , but we will do it again before they are 10 and 8.

As for T-Rex, we were in between the ocean and the asteroid room. Right by the T-Rex's tail. DS kept saying he was going to poop on us. The food was plentiful and what we had was good and we'll go again.

While it's nice to be home, I can't wait to go again.

I know what you mean, we want to go now but it will likely be another 2 years (2010 hopefully or early 2011). We must have lucked out and had almost the last of the warm weather when we were down there. Although, here we had some warmer weather last week so I bet it was warm down there too.

I have been in that position where I had to buy some layers!

Glad you guys had a nice trip.

Wouldn't it be cool if we could all go at the same time and meet down there. Like a double stroller reunion! Of course then we'd all be fighting over the stroller.

That would be cool! I promise I will only fight for one side of the stroller, my dd will be much too big for it the next time we go!

I think I'm finally done with my shopping and close to being done with my wrapping. How is everyone else doing?

I am pretty much done shopping, too. I have everything wrapped except a few last minute things which should arrive today.
We go to my sisters Christmas Eve so we will be cleaning the house out of gifts tomorrow. All that will be left is the kids and my ILs. The kids didn't get too much since we bought a Wii and went to Disney. We did giant stockings for them this year. But I wrapped everything going in them.

Though I didn't get any candy or little things to put in them. I will have to glance around Kmart today just to see. Like crayons and stuff like that.

And Julie, PLEASE don't kill me. My DH comes in last night and says to me, I mailed that stuff I had in my truck while we were gone. I said what stuff? He said the stuff you asked me to mail the day we left, I forgot so I just mailed it out today. I thought it was going to be there a week ago. I am SO SORRY!
Please let me know when you get it that it arrived safely.

And just for the record ... I'm SO jealous of always seeing such small numbers in your siggy for the length of time until you head back to Disney! Did you guys have fun at Universal?

hey everyone. haven't heard about anyone's holidays, hope they were all good.


Still trying to fill those 2 gaps in February.
Anyone out there who can help me keep this alive for just a bit longer, that would be great. It seems to have died after it became free. HA ha!!

We had a pretty fun holiday here. Santa went overboard as usual and as usual made the promise not to do it again. Let's see if it sticks this time!

My oldest was gone to her father's for the holiday so she'll be back on tuesday evening and she'll get to open her gifts from us then. After that the tree and such has to come down and get cleaned up. My mom and sister are coming the first week in Jan and the house is a bit of a disaster. So hopefully I'll get that all cleaned up and organized. Or it will all get stuffed into the garage!

Not sure what to do about filling in the bigger gaps? How much was shipping on the stroller? Maybe ship to back to someone's house until the next swapper arrives? It wouldn't be a free swap anymore but ppl tend to take better care of things that they've paid for, yk?

The stroller was just replaced this past month. Looked great at the beginning of the month.

the stroller worked great when I had it till the 18th of this month. it did have a couple greasy looking marks on the edge of the seat, but that could be just from kids getting on and off so often--because they wouldn't scrub out with soap and water.
It had no problems with how well it handled and nothing broken on it. no rips, breaks, tears. just those few spots.
I never reclined it, my kids weren't going to be napping in it. And it didn't have the front bar. but no real issues.

it WILL have all of it's accessories back by the end of Jan no matter what as I'll hunt them down when I'm there.

Jill - I wanted to let you know that I got the gift card in the mail on Saturday! Thank you again!!

We had a wonderful Christmas. Santa also went overboard at our house! It seems he forgets everything that he got the kids until he starts pulling it out of the bag and thinks "gosh, I guess I'll give it all to them anyway". We got loads of video games for the Wii and dd's Nintendo DS. I'm back to work today though ; at least it is another short week.

I'm trying to figure out if we can't sneak in another quick trip down some-time next year. After we watched the WDW parade Christmas morning, I found dd in her room flipping through her "guide to the magic" book from our trip. When she saw me she said, "I'm sad, mommy". When asked why, she said "I want to go back. There are so many things we didn't get to see!". So, now, a GOOD excuse to go back sooner than our 2 year promise. We'll see!
