One thought to leaving the stroller with bell services is that it is safer if left at a DVC resort. They are more used to handling luggage for longer periods for those who do split stays.

Like leave it at BCV or WL, etc

Make sure the stroller is never left at POP or any of the All Stars. They lose too many things and I think they are annoyed by all the fridge swaps.

do you think we should all post how or where we are taking or leaving the stroller for each hand off so everyone know where it is?

Luckily most of our gaps are so small that it shouldn't matter. There is a stroller swap housed at POP already so probably best not to leave it there.

If the plastic page protector will be there the whole time then we can insert a sheet into it saying to :hold for guest _______, checking in on _____." When I sent that down to Mcraw they told me to note on it what day she was checking in so that would be a good thing.

Also, maybe everyone should plan to take down a page protector just in case that one disappears. I'm not sure how she attached it. Maybe zip ties? Rubber bands would probably do as well - looping one band through a hole and wrapping the handlebar.

I also saw somewhere on the board where it was recommended to label the stroller in a not-so-obvious location as well - so that it could be identified if the tag was removed. Maybe the next person down can take a sharpie and mark it with something that can be used to identify it?

I am currently in contact with another swapper about taking dates 9/30-10/5....may fill that gap in minus 1 day!! WOOOHOOO!! let's keep our fingers (and toes) crossed.

We are shaping up quite nicely with our swap! Marking it in a small area is a great idea.

Ya know, my whole family says I am the planner--always planning something. This has been my most challenging experience. My family is going down one day, then a few days later more joining us, then my DH is going to Atlanta, then I have to get us all back home. And the 2 people joining us don;t fly too often, so I am responsible for their logistics also!
Plus coordinating the swap. It has been an adventure

I think it is! We are going to the Christmas party this year. I wish we were going a little later when all the decorations will be up but what can you do.... I'm just happy we get to see the parade and such at least!

Anybody have an opinion about MNSSHP? The tickets are SO expensive. Its hard for me to justify spending $200 for one extra night in MK. Is it worth it? I'm still going back and forth about it.

I have never been but I was doing some research here about the Christmas party and they mentioned that they think the Halloween party is even better. For several people it was well worth the money apparently. Also, I learned that at least for the Christmas party the amount you pay includes park admission after a certain hour. Apparently it starts at 7 but they let you in around 4. So that means at 7 only ticketed party-goers are in the park and it really helps thin it out and means you can pretty much walk onto the rides. So what they suggested was that you do a different park in the morning and then go to MK in the evening. I didn't know that and I'm so glad I found out!

Also, I saw tonight that 10/31 is sold out but the other nights are available. We're facing the same question on whether it's worth it or not but I think for this one time it will be worth it. And once I found out that it actually includes park admission and isn't in addition to I feel better about it.

Okay, we have to share pictures, I feel like I know all of you now! BTW, I need you to send good wishes my way. I am desperately searching for the video of my son's first trip to Disney. I should have a VHS and the tape it was recorded on and for some reason I can't find either. I am so freaked out. I had to give up for now but I'm constantly thinking about it.
