Just wondering if anyone's used their double sit n stand at Disney? We are considering bringing ours from home instead of renting but my concern is that maybe the kids (age 2 and 3) won't be too comfortable. The front seat doesn't recline too much and the back part is just a bench seat. (Well, I could put in the 2nd seat but not sure how easy to get in and out it would be for either of the girls)

DD(3) doesn't often like to be in a stroller but when we are on LONGER trips to the mall she will sit down on the bench in the back. And I plan to try to get her to sit in it as much as possible at DW to conserve her energy. :worship: But it just doesn't seem as comfortable in comparison to (for example) our Graco that we have (single). I don't want them to be uncomfortable. If we rent one, it'd be from Orlando Stroller rental and it's a double jogger which looks nice and comfy. But with the economy as it is, I'm thinking it'd be nice to save on the stroller rental expense.

Anyone's thoughts??

I've used my Sit n Stand on 5 Disney vacations, starting when my girls were 9 months and 3 years. The kids are now 3 and 5 1/2 and our next trip will be the first one where we'll bring only a single stroller. I love the Sit n Stand primarily for how easy it is for my older child to climb in and out. She's always been big for age, so lifting her into and out of a stroller was out of the question for me. The younger one has never had an issue napping in the front, even though the seat only reclines to a small degree. The only drawback for me is the weight of the stroller - it's not easy to lift when folded. But overall, I give the Sit n Stand a big thumbs up for a Disney stroller!

We've used the Joovy Sit and Stand on our Disney vacations and plan on doing so again...even though my kids are 3 and 7!!!! It handles well through the crowds and I like being able to 'trap' both kids when there are crowds to get through.

Only downside was folding it up and taking it on the Disney bus. But I made my DH do that! LOL

We used Olrando Stroller rentals and got the BJCM duo instead of taking our Joovy. It was by far one of the best decisions we made on this trip. The stroller is much more comfy for the kiddos, has better sun protection and handles like a dream. I would say it was actually lighter that the Joovy too- or it seemed that way. It folds so easily and compactly...its a great double stroller for kids of all ages. We had two strollers for four kids, 5 mos, 11 mos, 3.5 yrs and 6 yrs...they all loved it.

I hate to say it, but I'd go buy a side by side to take with you. The sit-n-stands are hard to turn quickly and that's what yoou will find yoursef needing to do in crwds because people wil stop in front of you or cut you off and you want to run over as few ankles as possible. You can find a god side by side with fully reclinging seats and nice big baskets underneath for abut what you'll spend on rentals.
