Switched to Progressive from Nationwide and saved big $$, probably about $150 every 6 months. We have had 2 claims, one for a window and one for a wreck of a 3 week old van. The van wasn't our fault, and they actually sent me a check (based on their apprasial) so I could take it anywhere to get repaired. The windshield was fixed while at work during the day and took no more than 30 mins. With Nationwide our rates kept going up, even with no claims. With Progressive, they have gone down at least a few $$, at each renewal. You also get a VERY nice discount by paying in 1 payment at renewal, vs. monthly.
