If I read correctly, the double dollars are for Disney DREAM dollars, for use at DL, not WDW. That might make a difference for some people.

I also can get double Disney Reward Dollars from the Disney Store. I just checked. I think I am going to go buy 3) 6 day PHP for MIL and 2 neices for our vacation in October.

I don't think you read right. It's for Disney Dream Reward Dollars, to use wherever you choose - DL, WDW or DS, just like any other DDRD.

Another great thing is to buy Disney Dollars. I'm purchasing some for both my son & I for our Nov. trip. Not only do you get double reward points on the purchase, but you can spend them at WDW. And better yet, we are planning to cash most of them in when we get to WDW - so, it's like a cash advance without the interest.

I read on the board about the double reward points and called Bank One and spoke to someone who works in the Disney division. I asked her if I would get the double pts by ordering from the disney.com site to order my WDW tickets. She put me on hold and checked and said I would get double points for ordering my tickets. So I hope she was correct. I made sure I kept her name just in case.

She seemed rather nice and also explained to me the new policy for issuing the rewards starting in Oct. She said that you call Bank One and request your reward credit card. They mail it out to you with the rewards on the card. It is better than the vouchers and can be used in the gift shops and many other places. I can't remember the places it can be used in WDW.


Leave for Disney December 16. Cant's wait. Staying at the Pop Century.

In July, they offered much the same - double reward dollars. I purchased $800 in Disney Dollars from the Disney Store with my visa and received double points on my card. I plan to purchase more for our trip in November.

We will be there for 8 days, so I think we should be covered.

Can Disney Dollars also be used to buy park passes and pay for the hotel stay? Even though our trip isn't until April, these extra points may add up. I thought I would buy enough to buy my passes, as well as pay for my hotel reservation.
