Hey everyone, sorry it took me a bit to get this done as going back to work after being off for about 10 days is crazy, and since I am going to disney on Jan 10th I have to get caught up for holidays as well......:scared1:

Unless anyone has a problem with it, can we weight in on Saturdays since our cruise leaves on a Sat and that gives us just over 42 weeks. What do you think???

I worked all day and didnt stop to have real food!!!!!
DARN it...........

Breakfast
1/2 bagel extremely light cream cheese....................3 1/2

Lunch
1/4 cup of crab chowder..................... 2 points
bread twist........................................3 points

Then i got a horrible head ache and had to eat
a freakin big sugar cookie GOSh that was soooo BAD............6 points!

Dinner
Bourbon chicken.................................5 points
brocolli..............................................0 points

i am already up to 19 points and i still have to get through the worst part of the night for me..........OH MY I WAILL HAVE TO STAY REALLY BUSY!

We're cruising on the may WB repo as well as the October 25, 2008 double-dip.

So far, I've lost 34, but really need to lose at least another 50 - minimum. I got kind of side-tracked with the holidays and I'm just trying to maintain over the next week as we have a birthday bash - 8 nights at the Poly!

But I'll be adding my weigh-ins beginning Saturday 1/19.

Thanks for starting this!

Oh - and I do Nutri-System - works best for me at this point.

Checking in for the weight loss! My goal would be a realistic 30 lbs. God Bless everyone on posting their weight. I am not that brave!
I'm the director of nursing at a nursing home. So work is bad~ we serve a high calorie meal plan to help keep everyone plump. The patients may have a small appetite~not me. My difficulty will be...pepsi(can't drink diet) and sweets.
I will get started on Friday.

i guess (sigh) i need to join too :( i plan to start something on monday (one last holiday celebration this saturday and it was too unrealistic for me to start before then) - so - i will weigh in on monday and post my goal

I haven't been very good so far as I am still helping with finishing off the choccies etc from Christmas, plus we have to go out to friends either tonight or tomorrow, which will involve food and drink. So my start date for definite will be Monday, which is also the week the kids all go back to school so it will be easier for me to monitor what I am eating.

Today I am having "oats-so-simple" for breakfast which generally helps me to avoid nibbles before lunchtime. I don't really know the points system you are using but I usually look at reducing calories and only eating low fat foods (ie. below 3% fat)

I usually take a fast walk every morning when I am trying to lose weight, but it is soooooo cold at the moment and that really puts me off. I know I will be finding it so much easier once the spring comes!

I just basically and having oatmeal for breaky, have for the last 18 years....then it goes down hill. However with my new WOE yesterday I had
2 clemintine oranges
yogurt with granola
celery
slice of pizza.....bad me
2 cans of pepsi
few hand fulls of popcorn.

My first goal is to start cutting out my pepsi intake, but that will not be until after my 1/2 marathon, I am always tired when I don't have my pop and the last thing I need right now is less energy;)

Weight in tomorrow for those who are ready!!!!!

I CANNOT AND WILL NOT DO WITH OUT MY DIET COKE!

I dont like water until i found this new water at Costco that id o like so i will switch it up with that.

I did horrible to day i think i must be starting PMS i dont get much of a break from PMS or DMS i only have about 7 days that i am OKAY!;)

My cycle is short and seems like i am always fighting against it!

Going to Get my Dd a bike this evening and then i am going to start on my daily bike ride in the evenings that will help me alot!!!!

Hi everyone!

Yep, less than a year now. I remember when I said to my DH..."on 25th Oct 2007, it will be exactly one year". My theory was if we started then, we'd only have to lose 500grams a week and that would be easy :rotfl:

Now, we're in January and I've done nothng.

So, hand on heart, I'm now saying that I my goal is between 20 and 30kg (which I think is about 40 - 60lbs?).

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't even go to things where I know that I'm going to see people I haven't seen in a while. I was always the skinny one and over the last 10 years (with a combination of depo, good living and kids) I've put on over 25 kgs. I'm now 80kgs at 5'5"...I got a Facebook page and I'm too embarrassed to put a photo on there, which kind of defeats the purpose of sharing photos with friends and family in the UK.

ok, whinging over...onto the hard work.

Hi everyone! I've been MIA from the boards for awhile. Holidays are always a crazy time!!! I am not sure that I can really do much this coming week (too many lunch meetings at work) but I will do the best I can! My goal is to lose 15lbs. Is the weigh in going o be each Saturday? I won't send an update tomorrow but I'll start next week. Thanks for starting this group!!!

I did my official starting weigh in on Friday. That was depressing! :eek: So today I am determined~ I have walked/jogged one mile, did crunches, and did some resistance bands.
Kim~ I am right there with you on the pepsi. My first goal is to cut down. 6cans to 2. Then to 1/2-1 can.
Will do some shopping today for healthier food.

I am weighing in at 140, i did not loose anything, in fact i may have gained a pound, hard to tell soem times on the dail scale i may go and get a digital scale!
