What exactly is a Double Dip cruise???? I keep seeing it mentioned and have no idea what it is.

Double Dip refers to the cruises that go to Castaway Cay twice. On Disney's website they are listed as "7 night Cruise to Costa Maya"

It is a western that visits Castaway Cay on Sunday (instead of Key West) and then again on Friday. The term "Double Dip" is a DISer coined phrase and not necessarily a term a DCL Cast Member may know. There was one scheduled for each month this year from May - December so there are still two more Double Dips left for 2006 and no more planned (at the moment) for the future, but based on their success I wouldn't be surprised to see more.
