BTW--the idea of Fish Extenders was started by the fabulous DEB (we sailed wit her on the repo--she is too cool). Her tag even reads "The first to extend her fish."

I was talking about your political debate yesterday, and how you were supposed to report back to me your thoughts.

Huber just gave me the "Duh, Brandie! I was wondering how you were going to do that." when I asked about the email address thing. 'Cause, you know, he TOLD me that... Not.

Aaah yes, the forum--DUH you'd think I could figure that out The forum which was widely advertised as a "candidates forum" had NO candidates there It wasn't just me misunderstanding. Everyone at our table of 8 and the one next to us were under the same impression (we didn't talk to others). So not much to report. I haven't even seen last night's debate yet. It is taped and the kids and I will watch it tomorrow. New Hampshire just has two days left in the spotlight

Thanks for figuring out the kids group. If it gets to be too much with the email thingy then feel free to opt out of volunteering to set something up

Ok, here's the ruling about the kid's area from DH: if you only have a single household email account, then that's the only username to get added to the Kid's Area Forum. There will be no distinction between a kiddo's account and a parent's account for that family.

Are you leaving the nite before? My job does not permitt me to leave on Friday...so we will catch the 1st flight from JFK on Saturday morning

We had thought about going to MNSSHP on Friday night, but that would mean taking off on Friday and having the kids miss 1/2 day of school. They are already missing 3 days and that is alot in HS.
We will probably fly out of JFK Saturday morning too, but we are toying with the idea of going Friday night and staying over at the airport hotel just to be on the safe side.

SO E left today. It actually went better then usual no tears no sad good byes it was nice in an odd way. But the boys didnt cry or get sad I hate to think they have gotten used to there dad always leaving but it does make it easier on us all! We dropped him off on base and followed the busses as they made there way to a larger base to take off from (we followed them as far as our exit LOL)

So now starts another ticker countdown and the faster E comes home means the faster the cruise is to us all! (which by the way is just an est. time I have in my ticker for him to come home. I have no clue until its about 2days way. It will probably be sooner Or at least I hope) Now to start all the real planning, flights, hotel etc. I can just do what I want where I want for how many days I want which could be dangerous LOL

Jen, the Buckeye ball player is actually a small Mr. Potato Head! I couldn't resist buying him when I saw him this past fall. As for the buckeye in the center that you thought looked like a ball, it's a craft pumpkin painted like a buckeye! I think they're both too cute!

Speaking of the Bucks, I'm so sad they lost the title again this year. Still lots to be proud of though. I hate to admit it, but I did predict LSU would win. So my friend said "let's bet on it then." Mind you he doesn't care about football in the least. He suggested the reward be an expensive dinner at at nice place out on the town. So I do have some great food in my future! Although I was hoping *I* would be paying for that because *I* lost the bet!!

It's after 5:00 am, so what the heck am I doing on the DIS??? Well I woke up Monday morning with a sore throat. Last night I was all ready for the game, and very suddenly, it hit me that I thought I had a fever. Yep. It was 98.7 vs. my normal body temp of 96.4. Just as quickly, I was SOOOO tired. Can you believe that I didn't even make it through the first quarter of the football game before I had to give-in and head off to bed?!! So before 9:00, I was in bed...*completely* unexpected. Thank goodness I didn't have a house full of friends over for the game.

I wanted to at least get back up during 3rd quarter, but I woke up on my own at halftime with a temp of 99.8. I managed to stay up until the game was over and headed back to bed at 12:15. I woke up again at 2:30 with a knife-piercing sore throat and either sweats or chills. 3:30....4:30...I finally just got up and took some Tylenol and made some ginger tea with fresh lemon and honey. I guess a call to the doctor's office in a few hours is in my future to validate I have strep throat and get some antibotics. UGH.

These near record high temps of 66 from yesterday and the prediction for the same again today isn't helping anyone, either, after the 12 degrees we were seeing last week. So I expect many will be getting colds here, too. I couldn't believe that I was out after sunset last night with no coat and my sunroof open. UNBELIEVABLE! It's the first part of January!! Anyone else seeing crazy temps?

Well I'm going to try and lay down for an hour before getting up for the day. Have a good day everyone!
