Thanks, Charlie!!

I have a question for you....do you have a memory or a record of which night was formal and which was pirate-themed? I'm wondering if each of them are on the nights of Castaway Cay days.

Formal Night is the Sunday night with semi-formal being Thursday....Pirate nite is the night we leave Cosumel!!!!!!

Formal nites are always sea days!!!!!!!!!!!

As always this can change but this is how it was in 2006:woohoo:

We are also on a special 7-Night Caribbean Cruise to Costa Maya/Double Dip cruise, but will be sailing 22-29 Nov 2008.

Would at least one of y'all please post copies of the Navigator, etc. It would greatly be appreciated by the Double Dipping Traveling Turkeys.

Thank you for the warm welcomes!!!!!!!!!:lovestruc

Kimberly I emailed you the info for us if you need more let me know:dance3:

I think that can be arranged! ;) I'm sure you'll all be very anxious to hear from us to know what may have changed on the ship post dry dock, too! BTW, LOVE your cruise name!!

I posted this on the main DCL thread, too, but for those of you who don't always have time to check that out, I wanted to make sure you saw it...

pirate: Now that the Christmas gear is clearing out of Target, I noticed today that they have several pirate-themed items in the One Spot (things for $1). Items included stickers, tattoos, play coins, hats, vests, over-the-hand hooks, and more. Some may be great for the Pirates in the Caribbean party or for fish extender gifts! pirate:

:lmao: Kimberly, I just replied to your post about this on the main board. We are just playing DIS tag:lmao:

About pirate night: the kids were playing pirates with the little neighbor girl Thursday. Marika came around the corner in her costume (which she last wore in May on the repo) and my mouth must have hit the floor:scared1: She has grwon so much (in height and curves) that the previosuly baggy pants nad shirt can now only be described as "sexy pirate":scared1: I'm so gonna be sewing a new one for Spetember:rotfl:

I would also like to take this moment to plea with parents to provide your children with FOAM or INFLATABLE swords. The hard plastic are so dangerous in the tight crowds that happen on Pirate night. Just sayin':rolleyes1

Thanks! This will be my family's first cruise and we are overly excited. As for the name, I've had it for years. HUGE Disney fan (as we all are at DIS) :earboy2:

Belated Happy New Year to everyone. Finished a week at work and now attempting to get back into a more normal schedule. Whatever that is. The grand children are over for the night. Janet is already in bed she has a cold and is trying to rest up so she doesn't get real sick.

Want to welcome all the newcomers to the group. Well better check on the little people. Lois

We just got off the Dec 29th cruise and formal night was Monday night, Pirate night was Wed and semi-formal night was Thursday. Was the same on our October 06 cruise except Pirate night was Tuesday so that we could stay in Cozumel longer so that the crew could get a night out also.

Hope I didn't mess anyone up:guilty:

Hey there, Charlie and Barbara (videoman)! I know I've already given you a welcome, but now I have some fun stuff for ya!

First of all, videoman is bringing a crew of 22 people!!! Stacy (pfishgirl) and Doug (Doug46), I think that beats you and your crew, doesn't it? That's awesome to have so many people you love enjoying what you love with you!!!

Okay...down to the stats that I love looking up!!

Charlie, your DD14 will be joined with five other young ladies her age. Donald & Daisy Duck have friends with 14 yr old twins coming as well, however, I don't know the gender of them. princess: Your DD10 will have nine other princesses her age to hang out with if she desires. There's another 10 year old coming with Selket (Carol), however, I don't have the gender of her children. princess: Your friends' (Anthony and Dorthy) 12 year old twins will have three other Belle's around them sharing the same birth year.

Finally, you have a neighbor coming on the cruise as well. Cathicool is also from Long Island!

[BRANDIE: Let DH know I'll be sending out an updated file to him today.]

Nah, don't worry about it. We're all speculating on the schedule together. As one who has had an alternate schedule occur immediately after the first dinner, I'm pretty laidback about it. Our 4 day turned back at dinner and booked it to the Port to medically evacuate someone. Poor DH got soooo seasick bouncing between his chair and the table. We thought it was so neat to watch the sunset through all the windows around Palo's, not realizing that we were turning back to port! :rotfl:

Twin Princesses who has not posted but maybe once will be traveling with a 15 niece and her DD Twins 10. Ages are at the time of the cruise. Are we doing anything to connect the kids prior to the cruise?

My 15 year niece has never had any kind of vacation let alone done a cruise before. She has had a rough year. She lost her mom to a heart attack in September 07. And to make matters worse her aunt (my other sister) that she was living with was on the Magic with me when it happened leaving her alone without anyone except a close family friend for 3 days. I would love to get her connected so she won't feel so alone. Lois

Kimberly....

I just printed out your post and read it to my wife and daughters...

They are all so excited to have kids their age joining them on this cruise:dance3:

I have found out in the past that once they "hook up" we never saw them on the ship:cheer2:

More time to spend in The Cove:dancer:

I also emailed you some more info...

Thanks again:banana:

Charlie:woohoo

Charile, thanks for the additional family info on your friends, Kevin and Corrine.

Their DD15 will have two other ladies her age with us, and of course you can probably figure out the DD12's, which is just one more than what's noted above! So there will be a total of five 12 yr old princesses.
