Hello all! We're finally back from our "Wonder-ful" trip! I can't say enough about this trip! We had a blast and only a few martini blackouts! We arrived at our Palo ressie about a half hour early and sat at the bar waiting for our table. Stani (the bartender) made us the best martinis then we went back to the bar after dinner for desert martinis! Then we went to Pirate Night - veeery happy!
We had so much fun we went back the next night for before dinner martinis at Palos before heading to Animator's Palate.
Jen - we were at every Bingo except the last one. When did you win? And was Savanna a Dwarf with Snow White at the Golden Mickeys? It was fun to meet you and I hate that it was so late in the cruise when we ran into eachother. How many pictures did you end up with?
I've never written a trip report, and don't think I can remember everything, but this was the best vacation I have ever had!!!!
Kimberly - I did raise my Sail Away drink for you!
I love the horn! I want it for my cell phone ring! It sounded 3 times before we left Cape Canaveral.
I also stopped by the rebooking desk to ask about rebooking with the onboard credit. I was told that this cruise is close to selling out and that if we rebooked it would cost us more than the onboard credit would give us. (we would also have to give up our SPR - and that's not happening!) When I got up from the desk a man came up to me and asked if I was asking about the Sept '08 double dip and wanted to know what GTY was. I think this is a very popular cruise!
Doug and I were so nervous the kids would never speak to us again once they found out we went on a
Disney Cruise without them, so we brought them a "few" gifts to make it a little easier to swallow. Even though Megan was playing with her obvious Disney toys, she didn't realize we went on a Disney cruise until we were watching the pictures on our TV and saw the princesses. She yelled out that's where we went (meaning last year at WDW) and I said no, that's where Daddy and I went. The next picture was of the ship and she got this disgusted look on her face and said, "You went on a Disney Cruise without ME!" She didn't settle down until we reassured her we were still going next year and bringing her.

Grady really could have cared less (That is once he saw the Star Wars
Lego ship we got him).
We had a little bit of extra time before our train arrived, so we decided to kill some time over at Downtown Disney. That was fun and we were able to pick up some more Guilt Gifts for the kids.
I hope what I've written is not too confusing. I did not sleep well on the train ride home last night, and I'm suffering from Wonder withdrawl. But Stefi gave me the recipe for my favorite martini (of the 12 we tried) and I'm going to have to make some of these this week to help me feel better.
Erik and Hadley - I love the idea of putting our name and dis name on the cards. I also love Hadley's idea of putting my dis name with my family and friend that doesn't post. I confuse easily too.
Welcome new cruisers! The cruise we just got off of was a blast, so I can only imagine that next September is going to be sooooo much better with this group! I kinda feel sorry for the people who don't DIS. They will be so confused.
Have a great day everyone!
