I get so excited when I talk with friends. The Secret Mickey was fun and I just got an e-mail from cupcake. She had a blast and was thinking of the double dipper. She said on the ship that the Secret Mickey was a lot of work because some people forgot or just didn't do it and she had to keep track to make sure that didn't happen. I never ended up revealing who I was to my Secret Mickey, but I guess I should have - opps I better go back and do it again - ha ha! I am getting my MIL to sew me a really cool fish extender this time around. Abby just left to play mini golf with grandpop and I am staring at all my cruise stuff to scrapbook. I LOVE IT! Counting the days.

OK cool....well Hadley and I are obviously co-captains of the Lanyard squad...GOOOOOO TEAM!!!

If Hadley wants to manage the list of people who want to help out with buying lanyards that's GREAT! So I'll echo Hadley's remarks and if you're interested in contributing to the lanyards PM Hadley. We probably won't need a BAZILLION people to contribute....and in honor of Ken who founded the lanyard team on the repo cruises, we'll want to list the names of all the Lanyard Squad on the back of the nametags, so the list can't be too long or the font will be microscopic!! So let's just take volunteers for now and if the list gets up to between 15 and 20 people we'll cut it up and then when we figure out the cost of the lanyards will split it all evenly.

Hadley and I will also work design of the lanyard and the name badges as it gets closer.....but I like the idea of the print on the lanyards saying something like "Double Dip Delight Sept. 27, 2008"....or maybe even "MAGICal Double Dip Delight..." (or some variation thereof) and maybe add an icon at each end of the wording with the iconic 3 circles in the shape of Mickey's head. That in white printed or woven onto a green lanyard would be cool, right?

Jeff, thank you soooo much!! I took time to look at this tonight, and I'm thinking this is a great possiblity since I'm not sure how much walking my mom will be able to do with the ruins (which I would love to see). So this gives me an idea for an alternative, if needed. Did you see a good coral reef and tropical fish during the snorkeling adventure? Do you happen to have any pics of the resort?

Hello All! I have been lurking for 2 days now trying to read all the posts on this thread. I booked this cruise last week - At least I think it was last week. It might have been the week before actually. . .

Anyhow - I'm so glad to have found this site! My DH gives me the glazed over look and the "Dear this cruise is next year already. Calm down!" comment every time I bring it up. (I only talk about it 6 to 60 times a day - go figure ).

I can now get my fix and not bother him to much.

Unfortunately DH thinks he would have a better time in a beer joint. Honestly I thought he was going to pass out when I told him that he was going to have to dress up for formal night. He is a software engineer and thinks dressing up is putting on a clean t-shirt. Good thing we have 15 months to work on that.

I had the same problem. So....I rented him a tux...it was 100 dollars and then when formal night happened....he was very glad to have it onboard. We had the very best family pictures it was so awesome. He thanked me. I tricked him good.
