Good Morning All
Well, we are back to reality now. We had a good two weeks. The Michigan portion of our trip was work for David and it turned out to be very good timing. Nearly all the important people in the company were there and David turned it into kind of an extended interview trip. He was one of a small handfull of people who actually recived U.S. patents this year and as such was also presenting at the conference which was good for people to see. So, by the time we left for Florida that Friday our spirits were much lifted by him having a number of possbile jobs in the works. It may still be a few weeks/months before we really know what is going on, but all in all it looks like this may turn out to be a good thing after all

And we WILL be on this cruise no matter where we are living by next Spetember
WDW was very good. The BEST part was being with Erik and Jason for the first few days. They are such fun people--Jason even talked a bit more than he has around us previously (I am sure this will come as agreta surprise to everyone--Erik is quite outgoing, but Jason is much quieter--I know you cannot tell that form their posts/lack of posts

). They took us two places we had never been before--Blizzard Beach and Disney Quest. Blizzard Beach ended up being both kids' favourite part of the trip. Did I mention that it was HOT and HUMID and got more and more so throughout the week?
There were two things we did not like on this trip. One was that they must be cutting cleaning staff dramartically becuase the restrooms were almost never clean. Yuck.

SO not like WDW. The other is that like Erik and Jason our one big issue was with transportation. We used to be big fans of the WDW busses but this trip was terrible. We endured many, many long waits and ended up taking a taxi on the last night rather than waste even more hours. The worst was one evening leaving Blizzard Beach at park close. One would think at park close many busses would be comming on through. And they were for the other resorts (at least three per resort). Pop Century did not have one single bus go by for 55 minutes. Finally at that point the coordiantor (who we and others had been asking what was going on for a while) flagged down a nearly empty Old Key West bus and put us on it. As if that weren't bad enough, someone had been sick in the Pop bus stop area prior to our arrival and it stank something awful. We were not happy campers then
Other than those two issues the trip was great. We really had fun with Erik and Jason and also with my in-laws later on. We had plenty of yummy food (I really hope they see the light and do not change the dining plan). My favourite is still the Garden Grill. We enjoyed the new attractions (Nemo show, Nemo clamshells and Monsters Inc. Laugh floor) but did not really LOVE any of them. We also did the one hour Segway tour with my father in law. We totally lucked out and were the only ones on our tour (there were 15 people before us and 12 after us, I have no idea why ours did not sell) and that was FUN

This was our first trip with the plus features and we used htem heavily. We started with 6 features but were given three more as a result of the bus fiasco at Blizzard Beach and used all but one. Now that we haev been so often, and the kids are old enough to handle the water parks well it was really fun to add the water parks and Disney Quest and Pleasure Island into the WDW mix.
Okay, enough with the mini TR. Here are some random thoughts about the many pages of reading I had to do to catch up last night
WELCOME to all of the new cruisers. We keep growing and growing.
Logo: I am agreeing with others that I like the Mickey Ears shaped map logo. I would love it if both the ice cream and ship could be made to look more hand drawn and less cartoony-computer-clip-art like (am I making any sense?). Go Drea and Erik

--I am so glad someone here has the skills and initiative to get this done.
Face Plants: Glad to hear both Fiona and Magicfor2 are recovered from their falls. Ouch
Website: Brandie tell your hubbie thanks for working on that. It is nice to have a quick easy reference.
Deanna (merging into Erik): Welcome home. How was the return????? And ARE you booking (I'll crochet in the club with you if you'll book just to hang out with you more). Rio says he and Erik are too busy dancing/partying and winning all the games to be reading or drinking or anything boring like that anyway

Marika says they are the ice cream club as both always seem to be drawn toward scoops. And lets not forget EUCHRE! Who are our other Euchre players on this sailing?
That's all for now folks
