Erica, do you want to throw those links on the other website so we can keep track of them?

A smashing idea! :thumbsup2
I'll give that a go tomorrow evening :goodvibes - Lionel is about to kick me off the laptop.

There is a private group that does them and it does have a Dave in the title. I actaully did the excursion offered through DCL to Kohunlich. We loved it. They are VERY far inland and I cannot imagine the storm reached them.

That's it! I was thinking it wasn't through DCL though. Hopefully all is good there then. Thanks!!

Just was looking thru the posts and came across this post....This will be our 4th Disney Cruise....:yay: I will be sending all the info soon. Can't wait to catch up on all the posts:banana:

WELCOME!!!! You have a LOT to catch up on if you want to go through all the posts, but it will be well worth it in the entertainment value alone!

Our thread has quite a busy bunch of chatters! As the Cast Roll Call List keeper, let me suggest that you check out Post 577 (link in my signature) to see if there's anything else listed there that you would like to share about yourselves.

Post 577 is also a good "go-to" thread to see what kind of activites we've been talking about. If you have other suggestions, please share!!! For some of the activities that may make you say "Hmmm...what is that?!", I tried to add links to other posts that discuss it. Certainly ask if there's anything you want to know more about. This post also has info about locating our cruise logo so you can use it for door magnets, your siggy, or whatever you choose.

Glad to have you with us!!! :goodvibes

Hadley & Brandie...thank you so much for the information. This has had me worried for days. I even spoke to my husband about changing our trip to a different destination. I feel much better now.:)

Erica, is geocaching like finding small hidden treasures by using a GPS? What are the "rules"?

Anybody else ready for Friday??? :cool1:

Brandie

TGIF! It's been a long week. My DS(13), today is his birthday, broke his foot a few days before Christmas and just started back to school on Wednesday. We had to speak to nurse, etc., at school since he is on crutches and unable to put any weight on his foot. Now in the morning, I drive him to school (as usual) but now I have to carry his books in the building for him - you can guess how much he loves having me walk him to his locker. Hopefully, next week that will stop when we get an extra set of textbooks at home. (his backpack weighs about 45lbs. with his textbooks = crazy).

Erica, gotta share this conversation over IM with DH with you:

Thanks, Charlie!!

I have a question for you....do you have a memory or a record of which night was formal and which was pirate-themed? I'm wondering if each of them are on the nights of Castaway Cay days.

Thanks, Charlie!!

I thought that these nights were often planned for the days at Sea. I can email my TA...she often/always has that information, too.

Hi, by the way, to everyone....sorry we haven't been posting much but we've been busy with the holidays and all that good stuff and now I'm gearing up for a very busy spring with a number of business trips to NYC and Central NY.

Brandie pretty much has it right. Someone hides a "cache" which can be anything from a tiny little capsule with a roster to a tupperware-sized box with gifts inside. They post the general coordinates (I think there is something like a 30 foot variance possible due to different GPS systems) and some clues, and people hunt for them. When you find it, which is sometimes easy and sometimes VERY HARD, you log your name on the register, and if appropriate you swap out a little gift that you bring with something in the box. Usually it's dollar-store stuff, like magnets or pins or little toys. Then you put the cache right back where you found it. It's actually a lot of fun and great for families. :thumbsup2
