BYOP: - back somewhere a few months ago, my DH actually thought I was trying to host a huge party in our cabin, and was nicely asking where everyone would sit :lmao: He's used to me hosting crazy get togethers here for my business. You will see he's pretty quiet until he gets to speak to you one on one - hard to draw out - I'm the chatty Cathy!

What a nice guy not thinking you are crazy inviting everyone to Bring Your Own Pillows to your room :lmao: Did you say that is why I am asking them to bring pillows so they can all find a spot :)

Welcome to all the newbies !!! :welcome: :welcome:

The decision was finally made....just in time (HAHA!!) on where we are staying the night before the cruise..........the Hyatt at MCO won !! We booked our rooms tonight!! My family, my sis and Mom and RKandMJsmommy and family are all staying there !

Ok, now I have a question for all you veteran cruisers......I heard that the MCO Hyatt will pick up your bags for you so you do not have to wait at bagage claim........is this true and its it only at certain times?

One more thing........I was thinking (scary I know) that since this cruise is right after dry dock, does that mean that our rooms will all be ready as soon as they let anyone board?

One decision down and only one million more to go !!! At least I feel like I did something constructive today !  pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: party:

Let me know how that magic wand is working for you all........maybe it can clean up DD room !! I don't think even Magic will help her room !

Crissi

Along the same lines, we will be spending one night after the cruise at HOPEFULLY AKL using our DVC points, so what is the best way to get back there? Shoule we pay for round trip transfers thru DCL? Or just get FL tours to take us back, any ideas?

okay; i waved the dog-wand in the air said the magic words bibbity bobbity bark and the mess stayed but the remote control is missing and i seem to be missing some shoes, so i will have to take the dog into magic shop to get fixed and see what happens.

we are still trying to decide about before and after the cruise we know we are going to go to disneyworld but not sure. when i was thinking maybe a couple days before and a couple after. that way we know we won't miss the ship if a flight is late and our vacation won't be over when we get off the ship. so many things to figure out.

:rotfl: Love it!

How did you end up in the ER? Was it a dehydration thing or something else?:confused3

Thanks for the good wishes! :flower3: We have 2 cans of sunblock and refillable water bottles. I heard you can fill them up on deck 9. I didn't want to lug a case of water with me this trip.

Yes.. I passed out waiting in line to get into Animator's for dinner.. 4 hours later, 3 IV bags, Blood Test, Urin Test, Ekg :sad2:

All to be told I was Dehydrated along with an ear infection and Sunburn.. and I used sunblock TWICE

Is anyone here going to be at MNSSHP on the weekend of the 13th? Me and DH are going to be there and I was just wondering...

Wow - 3 IV bags! :scared1: Note to self, "Drink lots of water!"

I'm glad you are feeling better! I hope you were able to enjoy the rest of your trip.

:lmao: I am no longer allowed to catch up on posts when I have a drink or have to go to the bathroom! I've had to clean the monitor twice this week. :rotfl2: I'm glad I wasn't on the laptop. :surfweb:

I'm thinking your remote and some shoes might have been transported to my house. No, wait! We do have 5 remotes for one TV. But, I'm not sure all the shoes in the sunroom are all ours. :rotfl:

3 posts in a row. Can you tell I am procrastinating?

I thought I would share this picture.

Disney2006set3018.jpg

This was the last picture I took at WDW last December! We were waiting for Doug & Megan to use the bathroom before we left to go home. I showed it to Doug when we got home and said, "This is our next Disney vacation!" :thumbsup2

 Okay...now I'm jealous! I might need to work on that order this week!! Would you mind taking and posting a pic for us, Erik? :) I think you should have Jason model for us!!

Jason is in Phoenix, AZ until Saturday night but I"ll try to get a picture of the shirt and post it when he gets back.

Hello all -

I've been lurking since August when I found this thread. 1759 posts later I've registered. I thought about it for the logo voting, but since it all seemed to come out the way I would have voted I stayed a lurk (but a fabulous job, Erik). When I saw the quips about the wand and the dog, I just couldn't pass it up.

I don't know how to do the real "quoting" thing, so I just cut and pasted the relevant remark:

"okay; i waved the dog-wand in the air said the magic words bibbity bobbity bark and the mess stayed but the remote control is missing and i seem to be missing some shoes, so i will have to take the dog into magic shop to get fixed and see what happens."

First of all, Tiffany, I thought that the "Bibbity, Bobbity, Bark" line was inspired.

But what really got me was taking the dog into the magic shop. We don't have any dogs (just fish), but I always thought that dogs were taken to the vet to get fixed.

Anyway, now that I have that out of my system, we booked this trip in July. We have 2 Cat 11's for me, DW, DD's (10 & 5) and DS (8, just barely) (all ages at time of sailing). We're really looking forward to it. We have our box in the closet labeled "Cruise Stuff". It's pretty empty now, just a couple of eye patches and a Hawaiian shirt. The tuxedo I bought for $15 (you can't beat a resale shop "Going Out Of Business" sale) doesn't fit in the box.

Has anyone else thought about grabbing some cheap piratety stuff on November 1? We have lots of Halloween stores that have popped up in vacant storefronts over the last month or so, and I'm thinking that they will be looking to dump excess inventory after Halloween.

Ok, back to lurking mode. I'll see you all in another 1800 posts or so.

Don't be a lurker!!! We are a very friendly group here. Great idea about the piratey stuff. We will have to check it out.

We are at SSR right now, first time. What a great, beautiful resort this is. Any SSR owners on this cruise??

:sunny: PapaMoose! Thanks for peeking out behind those curtains, Joe!!! You demonstarted your "seasoned lurkerness" by pointing out the kids' ages are at the time of the cruise! Thanks for providing that info. Of course you know about Post 577, so I'll spare all of you that speech!

Will this be your family's first cruise or first Disney cruise? I bet the kids are very excited! Since you've been around for awhile, you already know the the DD10 is a popular here! There will be seven other 10 yr old girls joining yours, five 8 yr old boys joining your son (and one 8 yr old kiddo of an unknown gender), and five 5 yr old princesses (and one kiddo of an unknown gender.

Well aren't you the bargain shopper! A tux for $15?!!!?!!! Wow!

Here's the secret on posting with a quote. I'm hoping it will help you stay in the DDD sunlight!

Quoting: If you see a post you want to quote from, simply select the "Quote" button in the bottom right corner of a post. It will copy and paste the post into a new post for you to submit. If you want to reply to mulitple postings, you can do a mulitple quote by selecting the "+ button to the right of the "Quote" button on each posting you want to quote. Then when you're ready, simply go to the bottom of the page postings (or top) and select the "Post Reply" button.

So we better see you quoting now! :rotfl:

Again, welcome!!

Tiffany and Jen, have a WONDERful time on your cruise!! Have a special drink for me when you get onboard Thursday!

We are at SSR right now, first time. What a great, beautiful resort this is.

You are?!!! Very cool! Hope you're all relaxing and enjoying yourselves!

Jason and I own 200 points at SSR and 210 at AKL Villas (although we've never stayed there yet since it just opened...but we're plannign on staying there in a 1 bedroom for a week prior to the Double Dip). We've stayed at Saratoga a few times (and ironically....we are from Rochester, NY---so we're only about 3 hours away from the real Saratoga). The other DVC resorts we've also stayed at are Beach Club and Boardwalk.

In terms of hotels, we've stayed at Caribbean Beach, the All Star Movies & Music, Pop Century, and Animal Kingdom. We are staying in Port Orleans Riverside in December when we're there.

We look forward to staying in all the other DVC resorts and in some of the other hotels----like we really want to stay in the newly renovated Contemporary rooms and in the Polynesian sometime, too.

PaPaMoose :welcome:

Please don't be a Lurker, join in the craziness of magical dogs who eats wands and makes shoes show up at someone else's house :rotfl: Other ones lick the lotion right off your leg..

$15 for a Tux!!!! :thumbsup2 I'm jealous, even I'm Not THAT good of a Bargin Hunter although I did get 2 pairs of shoes at a going of of business sale for $1.00 :cloud9:

We are going on the Magic in December so we we definately be grabbing some extra Pirate stuff On Sale ;) to bring with us in Dec and again in Sept

Welcome to you and your family !!!!

Maybe you waved the wrong end of the dog? Any idea which way the wand went down? Maybe if you try waving the other end of the dog it will work.

Just a reminder to me to drink lots of water and tan before we go. Does not sound like fun. Hope your recovery was fast.

If not your shoes then who's might they be. I say if they fit just keep them and put them to use. Maybe some of the dog waving worked after all.

Welcome to the group. This is one fun loving group. Hope to see you pop in more often. Lois

You see I have three dogs and two cats at home. Anything I leave down is placed at risk of being eaten or licked including body parts. Lois
Yep, I always say, it's not the dog's fault, it's the human's fault if we didn't puppy proof!

One more thing........I was thinking (scary I know) that since this cruise is right after dry dock, does that mean that our rooms will all be ready as soon as they let anyone board?

Oooh, what a nice thought, I hadn't considered that! Anyone find any answers on previous after dry dock experiences?!

Rob and I are definitely thinking this is a good idea too. We've recycled the same pirate gear for 3 cruises, maybe it's time for something new if we can find something good, fun, and easily transportable!

Erik, can't wait to see pics of the merchandise!
