Ok I was wondering about the BYOP thread hehe. So do I have this right many people who book on the DCL link are getting cabin 6080 because they have not been assigned a real room yet? Not the 6080 is not real but it really can't fit all those people in there

i am so excited its less then 1 year till the cruise and just found out that my dd8(alex) got excepted to be in the music video,and guess what i get to be in it too. now i have to start looking for some western outfits for both of us to wear.

I know this is a little early to be asking........but what time are you planning on getting to the port? This is the first time for us on DCL and I want to make sure we are there in plenty of time for sailing! Last year Deb and I got to the port at about 8:45 am and they made us drive around for 20 Min. before I could park!!

Hi all just got off the Wonder and booked the 7 night Magic we love the the cruise so much staying on it for another week too

Here is our details to add to your list Ruth and Glenn room 6647.

Our there any highlights I should know so I do not need to read back 8months of posts hehe.

We are excited because it will be coming out of dry dock after a month. Any hints on anything new they will be doing?

Please excuse me for not being so vocal the last week or so. Monday my dad passed away. It was somewhat unexpected yet somewhat a prayer answered. We found out he had cancer about a month prior they dr's told him 6months to 2yrs and we just thought we had more time.... but mom and I belive it was for the better. He had lost a lot of weight, he had be come weak, and couldnt sleep well. Food didnt taste good to him and we could tell he was in pain also. He would have never wanted for anyone to see him in a worse state, and we would have never wanted to see him suffer. I truly belive he is in a better place then the hell he was in here!

Im so lucky to have had him across the street from me and see him virtually every day. I am trying to find comfort in that and not have guilt for not seeing him the night before when I had gone over and mom said he was sleeping. I left to let him sleep since he hadnt been sleeping much. But a part of me aches wishing I had just gone in and blown him a kiss!

My mom has been very strong in all this, but she is a strong person (she would tell you otherwise) She has pushed me out of the house everynight to tell me to sleep in my bed with my husband and boys. Next week I think I will make it a mother daughter weekend and stay there, as this is when it will get harder since family and friends have left. I try and keep a happy face during the day for the boys and mom, but at night is when I have my "breakdowns" I cry and try not to wake up E. In time I know it will get easier, but it just doesnt seem real that he is gone now.

Thank you for allowing me to post a paragraph it just seemed to flow out and its always been so much easier for me to write something then say things face to face to people, so this was very therapudic for me! THANK YOU!

anyhow-- I have skimmed post at 3am when I couldnt sleep this week, and wanted to say welcome to newbies (I thought I remember reading that LOL)

Eric and Chris great job on the logo I LOVE IT! Ill probably try buying things soon in time for the xmas surprize for the boys! Ill let you know how it goes when I try!

RetroJulie - Did you make a tie dye Mickey shirt this weekend? If so, can we see pictures?

Grady had to go to the dentist again today to get fitted for a spacer. He did great! I was worried that after last week he would not go to the back without a struggle. He did come out of the back crying though, but not from the procedure. I told him he could not skip school today and that upset him more than the dentist.

Well, My mom is coming in 2 days to stay with the kids while Doug and I are gone and I need to vacume and dust. Where is that magic wand. Oh well, It didn't work in Megan's room either.

Poor thing - the reality of not being homeschooled has set in! I can see him getting torqued about not getting to skip. I know you had lots of fun w/that one.

see thats why i am on this site, i would never have thought of that by myself as soon as i can get someone to help me (my dog weighs 65 pounds) i'm going to try that out. i'll keep you posted if it works i will be very happy to lend out my dog she comes very cheap just bbq her a steak

No, I didn't. Bummer. Ended up getting invaded by unannounced guests on Saturday and on Sunday my laundry and dirty kitchen staged a coup.

It is definitely on my list of crafties to do. I think it's adorable!

I must say I'm really glad our dog Tonka really isn't a licker. Since he's a great dane, that could get out of hand in a hurry. Its bad enough when he comes over for a pet right after drinking from his bowl. My sister told me recently that her 2 dogs (great dane adult, golden retriever puppy) refuse to drink out of a bowl - instead only drinking out of the toilet. At least Tonka does NOT do that.

On his big pillow that he sleeps on, he drooled something the other day that looked suspecially like a hidden mickey! Didn't mean to gross anyone out, but it was pretty funny when we came back home & saw the hidden mickey on his pillow.
