Crissi: We're going to get in sooooo much trouble, with so many of us being around the same age! We at least have our children to tell us to behave, right? I keep hearing, "Mommy's SILLY!" from kiddo lately.

Hadley: DH and I are playing hooky from the kiddo on Monday and Tuesday (8th wedding anniversary)--she's going to day care (which she'll love) and we'll get time together for once. He still keeps jonesing for the XBox 360, but he refuses to take time off from work to get it (That's the deal; if he wants it, he has to take vacation time off)... Let's see what happens there! He even--well, to be fair, we both (separately, while the other wasn't looking) priced out the XBox 360 + Halo 3 last night at Sam's Club. What's worse is he "found" some money to pay for it, too. Poor him! He tried wriggling out from the deal this morning and looked pretty chagrined when I reminded him of the deal. He's catching a lot of flak at work for not having Halo 3.

So basicially, from the time I mailed it until it shows up in my mailbox is 2 weeks! JUST in time, don't ya think?

BTW, Brandie...very funny comment about my recipes. I would NEVER tempt someone to eat yummy stuff. Never!

DS turns 18 in May and the day he does, we are off to get his passport. He has one now that expires and instead of getting him one now and renew in 5 years, I figured we'd wait and get him an adult, 10 year one

Think we'll get it in time May - Sept ??

We have decided to go ahead and keep sailing - along with our oldest DS, Ryan and his family. Our youngest, Mark and his family will probably not be joining us. Ryan and Dana just started new jobs and won't be able to take vacation until September. Mark and Lindsay don't think they will be able to leave school from their Masters program in Sept. They have a meeting in a couple of weeks and will decide then. They are now looking at a 3-day in June, as Myles, who will be 3, keeps talking about the "big boat" every time he sees a Disney cartoon

That's funny, my DS2 bugs me all the time to see the "big big boat" on the computer........we have watched the OC podcast a million times already!

I think you are right Brandie, this seems to be a great group so far and it is so nice that so many of the kids are the same ages too. They are going to have a blast together too! I'm sure we will manage to embarass them.......we'll have to make sure they are tucked away at the kids clubs before we do anything too foolish !

At this point, I think my DH is going to scream if he has to hear me telling anyone else how many more days we have left !

Jason and I will catch the first bus of the day to the port from our resort...it usually puts you at the port at about 10am or so. I am plannign to get there early in the day so that I can stake out a corner and start passing out lanyards and nametags to people who arrive at the port nice and early.

How far is it from the airport to the port? We are probably using FL tours to pick us up at the Hyatt and bring us over.

Sorry Erik, not yet...........I know this was brought up during the process of making up the logo, but I think it got lost in the excitement. Would it be possible to make an "amendment" to it in the event that we are not stopping at Costa Maya? Or maybe just show a ? where Costa Maya is on the map?

Just a thought.............you worked so hard on it that I don't want to seem unappreciative.

Fair question.....I think we decided to keep it as Costa Maya so that it reflects our original itinerary and where we were supposed to go....because in reality any cruise (especially in September...the peak of hurricane season) could get diverted to anywhere on any day.....so I think a number of people were in favor of keeping it the way it is since that is the itinerary we all paid for.....and as positive wishful thinking that that is the itinerary we are going to get....and also, in truth we may not know officially where we're going with much advance notice. I contacted my travel agent who is generally pretty in the know and as far as she knows, Costa Maya is still the game plan.

Gee. A girl can't take a Sat. morning off to do stuff without coming back to 3pages of posts!!!

I have to say that the funny conversations on here did add some sparkle to my day. One of the things I had to do today was attend a Memorial for a friend and our praise team was singing for it. Several of us commented that we did great until we looked at the Widow and then lost it.

Now I will attempt to catch up:

Doug and I graduated college in the 90's too (Doug in 90 and me in 93) And we are the same age. I'm just a little slower than him.

Magicfor2: I'm glad to hear you will be sailing with us!

Kimberly: Very cool on your passport! Nice to hear that the frustrating waits seem to be a thing of the past!

Eric: Thanks for the updates and directions about CafePress. I plan to order, but not for a little while or I will be like pfishgirl and have one of everything! Although, I have a dog and am thinking about ordering her a shirt too. . .She already has a pocket in my FE.

No No No PLEASE don't jinx us The last time we did the Western we did get to go to Costa Maya and ended up in Nassau I was upset for weeks..
