Wow, I get along well with my in laws. (maybe it helps we live 2 hours away.) my inlaws are almost my grandmas age, and they are set in their ways, but will do anything for you. ( they took us all on a cruise 3 years ago).

My mom, my kids call her Pammy not grandma. :goodvibes :goodvibes she wants to come with us on our next cruise, she goes to Disney with us every other year or so. I wish we lived closer, it will be really tough once we move to Georgia. :(

Has this question ever been asked yet?? What does your screen name mean? (some are easy to figure it out.) Mine actually had nothing to do with the Disney Magic. someone one time asked if I was done having kids? and my answer...3 is the Magic number for me.

LOL!!! Moving to Georgia will definitely put you closer. Once you move here, will you drive to WDW or fly? We drive because getting to the airport and dealing with all of that is just not worth it for us. It's only about 7 1/2 hours from here.

My screen name is my dh's company name. We came up with that many years ago. He and I were cutting up about our college educations. He always says things like "In *theory*, this should work...." because a lot of his coursework focused on theoretical thought and such. My response has always been "But in *application*, it does NOT work...." because my degree is in *applied* computer science. LOL! So, I named HIS company nTheory. :) I use that one when my typical screen name (Shell) is already taken.

Maybe this could be the question of the week???

My one aunt (my Mom's sister) has been my substitute mother for many many years and another older lady who lives beside my aunt has taken me under her wing also. So I am blessed.

My screen name?? What I enjoy the most out of life---being Gram to my 3 wonderful grandkids.

I just got back from 4 days in DL- Paris! I missed so much on this thread - trying to catch up!

Ok, I'm officially jealous.

Angel Food…what a wonderful program that really helps a lot of fraught families and fixed income senior citizens. How nice of you to volunteer your time!

No Kidding!!! Hard hat vs. bullet-proof vest?!!! ABSOLUTELY I would be thrilled he’s going to work in that attire! All of the military and law enforcement spouses who live this life...I salute you, too!

Tiffany not only volunteers in this ministry at our church, she is the COORDINATOR for us. :thumbsup2 Many hours, much stress but well worth it for the benefit it gives to folks in our community. (I'm pretty sure she'd agree w/me - just depends what day she's asked. :lmao: ) For anyone not familiar w/AF, here's their website to learn more: http://www.angelfoodministries.com/
Ok, stepping off the advertising box now.

You bet I'll take the hard hat over the other!

screen name:
Pretty bland actually. Its a reference to being a cinderella fan - more about Emmie's being a fan than mine though. When I 1st signed on the boards, she was big into cinderella. Not as much now. Perhaps I should change to JoeFan or JonasBrosFan..... Nah, this one will pass too (I hope).

Okay…. I would hate for you guys to have to memorize yet another post number. We’ve already retired 577 and 6! So, it looks like I might need to start the new thread tonight and get this Chapter closed! That’s good news, IMO!! Can you believe we went through nearly 250 pages in just 2 months?!! Geez! I’ll let you all know when it’s out there.

Wow...... Ummmm ... I think that's about the time I started chatting. Sorry. :sad2: :rotfl:

My screen name is from my favorite Jim Henson puppet. Fizzgig is in "The Dark Crystal," and the gif in my signature always makes me smile.

My screenname is the first three letters of my favorite character (:tigger:) and my birthdate (Aug. 21, 1974)

OK folks...all 8 of the unclaimed lanyards are now spoken for...THANKS!!

Also, cross your fingers that the USPS doesn't make any kind of goof! I shipped the lanyards to Hoagie Pie yesterday (she lives in Florida near WDW and will bring them to me once I arrive there in 14 days). The lanyards and name badges weighed nearly 20 lb. and took up way too much space and I just coudln't afford to have them as luggage....so Sandi graciously agreed to have me ship them to her to hold for me. So yesterday I packed up a box with the lanyards and supplies and the message centers....and I also put all my secret mickey stuff and all my door magnets and fish extender stuff in the box so I don't have to carry any of that with me. The box ended up being over 30lb!!! :rotfl2:

Let's just hope it gets there safely!!

Yikes, Erik!! That's a big package!! LOL!! I hope it all gets there in one piece and on time.

With that weight, it had to cost you a fortune. Can we pay for some of that??

Thank you again Erik for doing the lanyards and thank you to Hoagie Pie for holding onto them for us! I can't wait to see them!!!!!

No need, Shell....thanks though! Remember that because the lanyards were a rather big undertaking...we really didn't have time to work on any large scale separate fish extender gifts for folks. Plus there added here and there costs (like the shipping to Florida) that we didn't originally plan for with the lanyard team but that Jason and I gladly covered.....so the lanyards and the work and expense that went into them (above, of course the GENEROUS support of every member of the amazing lanyard team!!! :yay: :yay: ) was kind of our unofficial fish extender present to everyone, as well!

It was/is our pleasure!!

Wow. Thank you so much, Erik, Jason, and the lanyard team. Since I got in on this thing late, I had no idea how it was handled. Way to go, lanyard team!!!!!!!

We live just outside Harrisburg, but I work in Hershey. We will be flying out of Dulles as it is direct, cheaper, and my parents live there so they can drop us off and pick us up-no parking fees!
Yourself?

Has this question ever been asked yet?? What does your screen name mean? (some are easy to figure it out.)

"Nenner" is what my sister called me when she was a baby and could not say "Jenny" very well yet. It stuck in infamy and to family I am and forever will be just "nenner".
The 1 is because there is someone else on these boards called "nenner" believe it or not.

Awe…thanks ladies for the compliments on the scrapbook pages! What I did was really quite simple, so anyone could do it (and feel free to make them for you, too!)!!
They are fantastic. You are so crafty, girl! :thumbsup2

BTW, sorry I’m going to miss the Palo Ressie Line Party complete with umbrella drinks (well, I’m not sorry that I do not have a reason be there!). Maybe I can be your runner to keep your hand cool with a full-glass as you sweat out the anxiety to get reservations you want!

Much to our dismay (not) we aren't joining the Palo line party for once, either. Once we figured out our Character breakfast day is Thurs, we gave up trying to change our brunch.

It always makes me smile too!!:rotfl:

I'm sure we'll do our best! :goodvibes
Priority with delivery confirmation, right???;)

With that weight, it had to cost you a fortune. Can we pay for some of that??

Nah, USPS is by far the cheapest for delivering heavy packages. The general rule for estimating cost is Priority is roughly $1 per pound after 10 pounds or so. Parcel Post usually runs $5-$10 cheaper, but takes longer.

sushi today.

With MAYO!!!

They put spicy mayo in the spicy tuna roll.

I've kept quiet long enough. Cat...seriously, you aren't missing anything, MAYO IS GROSS. I hate how they slather it on the otherwise good fish sandwiches on CC. Seriously, how hard is it to put it on the side? Blegh.

OK, here is my TIP 'O THE DAY for all of you budget and/or booze minded folks.(Drea...Erica...are you listening?:rolleyes1 )

If you have been on DCL before and have the plastic refillable drink glasses, pack 'em and bring them with you. You trade them in for another one filled with yummy libations. (Well, you do have to pay like $3.95, but that's a lot less than buying the glass again...plus then you get NEW ones:thumbsup2 ) I just added mine to the pile today.

Speaking of cruise piles, yesterday Savannah's friend and her mom came by looking for her (the friend's) shoes. I'm sure they were wondering why I wouldn't let them in to look. That's not a mess partially obscuring the front window! It's a CRUISE PILE. Sheesh.!:rotfl2:
