When I looked at that post, they mentioned that they didn't want to spend the extra money to go to the butterfly farm. Our excursion includes the butterfly farm so I think we're okay. It looks like they were looking for a shorter tour that may have been offered.

I'm sure we would be contacted by Disney since we already reserved.

Amy - I double checked on the website and at least for our sailing they do offer two tours. One tour (2 hours - which is the one I think the poster wanted) is $29 and doesn't go the butterfly farm. Our tour (3-1/2 hours) is $59 and includes the butterfly farm. So we are good to go!!!

No UPS man at my house today.................BUT.............I did get a phone message from the person who bought our old house from us 9 MONTHS AGO. "yes, this is ****, we bought a house from you last year. We got a Disney package delivered to our house today and my son opened it without reading who it was to because it said Disney.........and well..........it is your Cruise paperwork............." So, it looks like our docs got sent to our old address even though I updated our info months ago. So, I can "kind of" do the Cruise Docs Dance. I will pick them up tomorrow

there are 2 ressies open for dinner at 8:24 am EST, they are for 3-4 guests, on Day 1 Port Canaveral at 7PM and Day 5 Cozumel 7PM, neither works for our group, BELIEVE ME, we tried to make it work...

I forgot to post I got Palo reservations a couple days ago. I was going to tell everybody to go to the site fast, and I forgot It was for day 3. Hope somebody else can get reservations for this one.

Wow! You're really lucky the people called. What nice people. The a** that bought our old house kept TWO UPS packages that arrived...one was a $400 wall mounting bracket for a flat screen TV and the other was a big tin of poporn from one of Jeff's clients. Refused to call me after I had left notes in the mailbox & on the front door with my info & asking him to PLEASE call. So I knocked on the door a few days later, he answered and said "I have too many boxes to go through from moving. I can't look for your box." JERK.

So....glad your new home owners aren't like that!! Our guy would have gone on the cruise himself

Alex is already home from the hospital.

He'll have a stent in his kidney for six weeks, and bad parent that I am, my first question wasn't "is it dangerous" but "can he go on vacation with that?" Answer, yes.

Awww, poor guy. I hope he feels better soon. Braden had his tonsils out a couple months ago and that was hard! The first few days he could not get comfortable

Thank you dear!! I grabbed the Day 1 ressie about an hour and a half ago, but I've been distracted to post the update right away.

That does lead me to a question....IF we would end up with the APPLAPL rotation, I'm concerned about missing the show at AP. Hearing that they do the lighting show on your first rotation to that dining room, do they still do the show on embarkation day?

...Alex is already home from the hospital. His 1 1/2 hour surgery turned out to be a bit over five hours on Thursday because the stone was adhered to his kidney wall somehow. ...He'll have a stent in his kidney for six weeks...

Awe...poor little guy! I'm sure it was a long stressful day for you. I really hope the next 6 weeks will be comfortable for him. I agree that adults are worse patients! We have a lot of people in the medical field on this cruise (DM included)...I'm sure they could give us the truth to that belief.

Well, I just got a call from DM that she and DGM are driving down here this afternoon so I can get fitted for my dress!! Sooo.....I need to run!

Quick update, and when I'll have time I'll go back and read the thread. You talk too much. Also- all those in the path of Gustav, prayers and good wishes to you.

Alex is already home from the hospital. His 1 1/2 hour surgery turned out to be a bit over five hours on Thursday because the stone was adhered to his kidney wall somehow. He has a drain (like a little straw) sticking out of his back and a catheter so he's stuck in the house until next Friday when everything comes out. Right now, he's so grumpy and tired, not eating much, not drinking much, outside is not an issue.

He'll have a stent in his kidney for six weeks, and bad parent that I am, my first question wasn't "is it dangerous" but "can he go on vacation with that?" Answer, yes.

So he's napping, which means I get to do laundry, clean up (amazing how the house is messy when no one's been here), take a shower,etc. He's back in the hospital the week after the cruise to get the stent out. Ick.

Kimberly....I had read on the main board a bit back (like before the West Cast cruises) that the AP show was not always playing on the first three inital visits. That was around the time they changed the menu/rotations tbhough so I have no idea if it was an isolated event/events or if it has stayed a predictable pattern. How about just calling and requesting a different rotation...you very well may get what your request. PLLAPLA puts you in Lumiere's for formal night and Parrot Cay for pirate night. That's what we requested.... Either way congrats on the great Palo snag . One less thing to do on embarkation day!

Oh no! I never thought about tagging things!!!! I mean, there are few things that are bigger than other things that I have collected, maybe I'll tag those...but I won't worry about the smaller things! The smaller things I don't really care if people know they are from me or not because they are just little FE gifts.

Amy...you don't have to worry about tags if you don't want to or don't have time. A few people have said they aren't going to tag them. I know I want to, but I just don't know if I'll get everything done or not...

I know I am soooo excited for this. I can't wait to stroll around the ship checking out everyones FE's and door decorations!

After much deliberation I decided not to tag my FE gifts. I'll tell everyone which ones were mine after we get home. Mine are going to be.....well, kind of hard to tag. You'll see why

Very nice! I have a 14 year old niece that freehands also! She free-handed a Dale! I can be somewhat artistic when scrapbooking but my extend of drawing would be stick figures!!!!
