"Double Dip Delight" 09.27.2008 - Take 3!

Last time I was in Cozumel I was at Nachi Cocom enjoying the all inclusive food and drink. I tipped the guy in the begining for our party of 9 a twenty so we got great service all day. Gave him tip at end too.

Needless to say if I wanted a beer while I was in the ocean I got one.

So the only thing I remember about going back to the ship was.

1. The cab ride back seemed to go at 100mph. Probably would be a bit scary if I were sober because I the spedometer did not work.

2. Going on one of those bike carts to carry my drunk self back to ship.


So if Carlos and Charlies was right there I seemed to have missed it.

we will be spending the day @ Nachi Cocom then making sure the kids are fine..then going over to Carlos & Charlie's....Last time I was there the bike carts where not...had to walk along the pier..thank god my wife was at my side at all times.....Time prior to that had a bike cart race back to thge pier with the group I was with...As you said $20.00 goes a long way

That would be really ironic because today is my birthday......AND it's also Chris' (Scoobypop) birthday, too! (He and I have already been texting our shared birthday greetings back and forth!!)

I have dinner at possibly 5:45 so I will tell wife and kids I am going to the fitness deck to shower. I figure I can do a lot of damage 5 - 5:30 and
take the bike cart back and be at dinner at 5:45

That makes it all the more better....the party continues onboard.....I have some great photos from those nights....that god the next day is a dat @ sea...

I wonder what time we will be leaving Cozumel? In Jan we left at 7, but in October 06 they moved pirate night back to tuesday and we stayed till 1 AM the captain gave the crew the night off that is why we stayed so late wow could we do some damage if we stay that late this time

and honestly I'm not even sure Chris is lurking at this point....his life is so crazy lately....working lots of hours and he was in a show earlier in the summer.....so I think he hasn't even been having time to keep up with the boards but I send him periodic updates and I know that he & Rob are desperately awaiting the cruise (....and Jason and I can't wait to see them either since we haven't seen them since we left them in the Barcelona airport last May after the TransAtlantic cruise!!!)

ohhh Thanks guys. as I've said before I work for a college and this is the first week of classes. Not only is it the first week of classes its the first semester we've used a new information system. I do all of the reporting and needless to say this has been a serious challenge for me. Every time I send out a number I have to go back and say "no wait....our enrollment is reall X because of this, this and this with the new system". It gets old. I"m sure the campus president thinks I'm a goof who can't get anythign right.

Ok....enough venting for the moment. I just needed to step away from the spreadsheets for a minute or two and see what was going on in the rest of Disboard land today.

We have many rodeos out here, but my favorite is our little North Texas State Fair & Rodeo. It's not the BIG state fair in Dallas...it's a nice little one in a small town nearby. But for a five year old, it's plenty! Carnival rides, games, tonight is the bull riding blowout, corndogs, the local 4H show ring. He loves going & it doesn't cost an arm & a leg!

So Chuck E Cheese wasn't too bad. I actually saw the employees (two of them!) with a bucket and scrub brush scrubbing down every surface of the SkeeBall game. Now THAT I like to see!

Have a great time at the rodeo! That sounds like a lot of fun!

Glad to hear Chuck E. Cheese wasn't too bad. I work at a hands on science center so I wash my hands thoroughly whenever I'm out on the exhibit floor!

I ran to the mall at lunch today (it's a terrible shame it's across the street from our monster building). At The Disney Store, I found the adult-sized character ringer t-shirts for $6, thought about Amy, and made a purchase. Additionally, I went to Bath & Body Works.

Which shirt did you get? I actually folded our table like that last night! It was a mess! LOL!!!!!! I really liked the Minnie shirt.

Oh....numbers make my head go crazy! My stepson is leaving tomorrow to move back to college for his Spoh year. They start next Wednesday. Hopefully by then, you'll be all settled into the new system!!
