I'm thinking that I may be too late to be involved with the group FE thing. That's ok, though. I will have fun doing it with my family, anyway.

Welcome to the board and the cruise. This is our first. We plan to visit every FE and drop off something. So please put one up so we can drop off a gift. I am sure that you can still join the list.

OK....I've done it! FE gifts are all squared away I told Reese about the FE and the surprises and he can't wait.

On our last cruise, I had packed a little surprise for each morning, from Mickey, so now the FE surprises will take the place of that. One less thing I have to worry about...now Reese will know there are friends all over the boat who are bringing surprises!!!

GREAT idea about the FE Club to prevent stealing. I would be sooooo sad if ours was taken. Luckily, our says "The Williams Family" but that's still a common name!

Question for our friends...
If we put up a US map (sorry to those Canadian friends!), would you take a minute if you pass our door to mark the state you're from? I'm trying to decide if we should do this or not...we'd tally the results when we get home, locate the states on our big wall map, graph the results, etc. Is that too much work for someone passing by?


WATERPROOF CAMERA housing question....since I can't find the comments about that vinyl waterproof camera housing..would someone mind telling me what it's called or the website again? Sorry I can't find the comments about it, and I want one!

Thanks for the welcome! I don't think we can manage to bring the piano with us ..... LOL!! We did try to get the Walt Suite ... but we've heard that the piano has been taken out for a while. Oh well.

That's an awesome idea!!!!! That can't possibly be too much trouble for those passing by.

I don't know about the housing, but I have a waterproof, shockproof, digital camera. I LOVE it and can't wait to take it on the 'big boat.'

Door docoration can walk away as well. If you put at least your room number on them they are more likely to stay put. Another idea put out there by a DISER is to take them in each night as it seems to be the teens (or even adults) who are taking them. It isn't the younger kids as they took one of mine I had in the upper right hand corner of the door. So the person who took it was at least 5'5''. Lois

This is a very good point. Door magnets regularly disappear on the ship...especially if htey have characters on them and are not personalized. That is why all of our door magnets have a picture of Jason or me or both of us or at least one or both of our names on them....so that they're of less value to anyone else!

Also...I'm sure this need to be actually stated....but just in case we should publicly remind everyone that when we say "door decorations" we are really talking about door MAGNETS. DCL's policy is that nothing can be affixed to the door with tape, adhesive or glue of any kind. Everything must be magnetic and easily removable. This probably SOUNDS very intuitive and basic.....but Jason and I were on a cruise once where someone had decorated literally EVERY INCH of their cabin door with Disney themed STICKERS.....which I am sure were absolute torture for the poor housekeeping and maintenance staff to get off....so let's make sure that none of us DISers are among the "naughty" ones who ruin the doors!

Well, I think I need a therapy group for magnetics anonymous!! Seriously, I keep finding door magnets on threads that I love so I keep making additional magnets. Most of the larger magnets (if not all) have some form of name on them. Except, I did a bunch of small character magnets (yeah - I sat and cut them out!! - told you I have magnet issues ), so I plan on putting them on my door and if they disappear - no big deal. I will keep one set on the inside of the door just for me.

We won't be the first cruise after dry dock, there is a short cruise right before us. You will not be able to get into your cabin until after 1:30PM, boarding should start around noon.
