also hard drive? yet I saw those are more expensive.

TOday I went to Circuit City on my lunch and played with camera's and camcorders. If only I won the lotto LOL. I really like the JVC you suggested Charlie. My only question is... how do you transer the mini dv to say a dvd? Can you plug it into your computer and download it then burn to a dvd? Or is there a player for the mini dv. I had an older sharp before that took 8mm tapes and basically when it went caput it ate the last tape. I had a bigger vsh tape to put the 8mm into to play. Is there something like that for the min dv's.

No and No.

I have a mini dv.....I really wish we would have just bought a regular digital one, the kind you just plug into your usb and transfer the files onto your computer in mpeg. Its a JVC, and while it is very good quality I am frustrated by having this video I can only watch by plugging the input into the TV. Oh well it was cheap. :confused3

I have a packing list too along with all the tips I am working on. Hopefully I'll finish it soon if I can ever drag myself away from my magnet folder...he he he

I just got my space bags yesterday, so now I want to start packing. :rotfl:

I have a notebook for my Disney packing list and things to do. each person has their own page. plus there is a whole page for cosmetics and other things. ( fan, camera etc etc.). I just went to Kohls the other day and bought the girls some new casual type outfits for dinners. I forgot how much kids can grow. ;) I even made piles in their closets of things that dont need to come home with us too.

dh has a folder in the office for the official documents etc.

Hi all, It is getting so close :cheer2: I know we are all into Disney, but are there any Twilighters out there? princess: princess:

I'm interested, but I have enough addictions as it is. :rotfl: Sherrilyn Kenyon's Acheron came out Sunday. :)

Well I don't think I would consider myself a "Twilighter" because I only just read the 1st 2 books about a month ago. But I did certainly find them addictive. I read both within 4 days, I could NOT put them down.

I really wish the 3rd was on paperback, bc I'd snatch it up. I just don't want to buy a hardcover when I already own 2 paperbacks (I'm really OCD like that, which is weird I know! Ha.). It won't be out until April I think? Which is pretty ridiculous because I feel like I have to avoid all the talk of the 4th book that is coming out soon, plus the movie! Grrr. Maybe I will just suck it up & buy the 3rd & 4th anyways.

I'm not into Vampires or romance novels, but these just sucked me in. I think it's because of how passionate Bella & Edward are for each other but it's written by a Mormon, so it's still squeaky clean. More often than not Edward has me swooning & saying "I wish I had a Vampire boyfriend." Which is pretty insane, considering I'm 27, happily married & have a kid! Ha.

Ok, so I was perusing the main cruise board today, and I came across a thread that was regarding cruise documents about excursions that are mailed to you before your 75 day mark.

I never received anything, I wouldn't have known when I could book or anything really like that if I weren't internet savvy.

I'm just curious, did I not get these items because I'm booked with a travel agent?

These documents are mailed to your travel agent. Now whether your travel agent pays to ship them on to you.... that may be another story...

Hey Debbie good to see you back on the board. What is Twilighters? I assume it is a book or series of books but I have never heard of them. Your sister, Lois

We got ours for the 10/4 cruise but never got the ones for this cruise. There isn't anything in them that you cannot find on the web site or this board. It is the printed info on shore excruision and has info on entertainment on board and other cruise related stuff all found on this site and others. Do not feel as if you missed anything big.

Thanks for the link. I still need to read the last Harry Potter but they sounds like I will enjoy them. Lois

Oldest dd just read the first Twilight book. We're waiting for the second to come from the library. I haven't read them, usually dh reads the books she reads that we're not familiar with. She doesn't like anything romance-like, it's not her thing. I think I'll have to get a hold of them. I like some vampire stories, some romance, so I might like them.

We are booking the Rays, Reef, and Rum Point 8:30 trip with them. DBIL and family did and loved it! SAid service was great, food was great and it is cheaper than trips thru DCL.....

Great. In response to Midwest not flying to MCO now Airtran opened a new flight one hour before mine at noon. This this is a new flight their earliest seats are cheapest logic went into play so this flight is only $91.

I paid $175 because I thought I was going to get stuck since there were only two direct flights total out of MKE that day.

And the compressor on my AC is not working.

Oh Chris!!!

Still deceiding between the canon s5, or the sd1100 I want the smallness of a camera but I love the 12xzoom. after that they basically have a lot of the same features. Desicions Desicions Desicions:rolleyes1
Drea, do you know how much the sd1100 was? I saw it online today at Circuit City for $219. I went to Best buy today and it was $249. They price matched it for that price  I saw the s5 you are talking about. That's a nice camera too. I think if I can buy another bigger one later on I might get that one. For now, we just bought the sd1100. The only thing is I wish the zoom was more then 3x. I was on the computer for hours searching a camera and found the sd1100 had grear reviews so we went with that. :)

Hey Tonya! Yes. Anyone who is staying at a WDW resort has free access to boats, buses, and the monorail. There are boats available at many locations. It's a nice alternative to getting around and also allows you to "sit back" and enjoy the view and get some awesome pictures.

In case there are other places you might want to get around and see, use this helpful travel time and route calculator to see the various options on how to get from Point A to Point B.

Cool, thanks for the site. This will help out a lot! We aren't doing WDW, so we were thinking to go around and see what's out there. My kids will love the monorail, me to since it's free! :cheer2:

Jen- I have been doing the same thing as you magnets for umm MONTHS lol now I just need to print them. Wish my boss would go on vacation again so I could use the good printer LMAO

Hadley, I'm hoping to hear from you and to hear that you're okay. I saw Epsom in the news this morning for the severe weather. The footage was alarming. I Google-Mapped you from there, and it appears to be only 30ish miles from you. Are you doing okay?

Acheron is out? DANG I go away for a week on business, spend a week catching up at work and miss everything on the boards and in the book world. Well I know what I'll probably spend the first day on board reading since I won't have time to read until then.
