also hard drive? yet I saw those are more expensive.
TOday I went to Circuit City on my lunch and played with camera's and camcorders. If only I won the lotto LOL. I really like the JVC you suggested Charlie. My only question is... how do you transer the mini dv to say a dvd? Can you plug it into your computer and download it then burn to a dvd? Or is there a player for the mini dv. I had an older sharp before that took 8mm tapes and basically when it went caput it ate the last tape. I had a bigger vsh tape to put the 8mm into to play. Is there something like that for the min dv's.
No and No.
I have a mini dv.....I really wish we would have just bought a regular digital one, the kind you just plug into your usb and transfer the files onto your computer in mpeg. Its a JVC, and while it is very good quality I am frustrated by having this video I can only watch by plugging the input into the TV. Oh well it was cheap.
I have a packing list too along with all the tips I am working on. Hopefully I'll finish it soon if I can ever drag myself away from my magnet folder...he he he
I even made piles in their closets of things that dont need to come home with us too.
I know we are all into Disney, but are there any Twilighters out there?

I saw the s5 you are talking about. That's a nice camera too. I think if I can buy another bigger one later on I might get that one. For now, we just bought the sd1100. The only thing is I wish the zoom was more then 3x. I was on the computer for hours searching a camera and found the sd1100 had grear reviews so we went with that.
