Hi all! Happy Saturday

That's so funny that some of you are so very close in location to each other! It really is a small world, huh?

Hope everyone has a great day...all the kids are here today (college-age Austen is home for the sumer & doesn't work until the evening) so we're heading to the Galleria for some family fun & lunch.

We let Reese stay up late last night because he & Austen were playing together and I didn't want to pull him away from his big brother when they were having so much fun together. I mean, how many 19 year old boys will spend so much time engaged with a 5 year old, you know? I was hoping Reese would sleep in since he went to bed REALLY late (like 11:00!) but no go. Seven o'clock and he's ready to get up.

Luckily he's a napper, so after the Galleria, we'll come home for naps! We checked out Shark Tale from the library yesterday, so he is relaxing on the couch right now watching that...about to fall asleep

Fiona came home with pinkeye last night, and this morning, my eyes aren't feeling so great.... Happy happy joy joy, huh?

So there go all those ambitious plans for getting out of the house. Guess I'll have to clean the durn house after all!

Maggie & Jen: Looks like we all may be watching the TB vs. Greenbay game together. We are HUGE Packers fans!!!

What's up with Brett Favre coming back? I saw that on ESPN last night - what a mess - LOL! My DH is a HUGE Packers fan - he is hoping Favre will stay retired I think.

There is the Washington vs. Dallas football game (at 4pm I think). That is a huge rivalry around here and those games are usually fun to watch. Nothing gets more sports coverage in Washington than a Redskins/Cowboys football game!

my bil works for a toy company and last night was their preview sale, they had pirate costumes probably size 3t for $1.00. I wish ds was small enough, I would have bought him one.

We are fans of Brett, but he does need to stay retired. My family is devoted Cowboy, Eagle and Colt fans. Makes for some interesting football watching!

Yes! It is a wonderful day here. It is already 85 and sunshine.....my favorite kind of day.

Our family last year all wore Steeler jerseys. ( my middle one wore Jasmine). This year we all have different colored tye dyed tshirts.

Alot of families dress up in themes. Last year there was an entire group in M & M's.

Didn't think of a theme type of costume. Thanks Valerie for the idea. I am trying to come up with something that would not take extra space in our suitcases.

Totally OT, but I seem to remember you asking about Sarah, Diana! Might have been a while ago as I do have the occaisional brain fart. She is doing really well...sleeping 4-5 hours through at night (sometimes 6) which doesn't really help me cause when I go back to work Monday I will be working graveyard...ugh....But she is fat and happy!

Yes, I did ask about her. I saw her picture on another board you were on. I would volunteer to babysit for you, but she would need to come to PA or better yet, I could move to FL. I'm glad she is a happy baby.

you could wear Pirate clothes and then wear them on the cruise. Alot just had on Halloween type shirts. and then most did not have on any costumes.
When we arrived last year at 4pm, it was still 90degrees. so it could be even hotter this year. (We went in the middle of Oct last year).
