"Double Dip Delight" 09.27.2008 - Chapter 5!

Aww Amy, what a cutie! I'm so glad you saved him from the snake!

I always see the animals being shipped at work (yes, animals do get sent through the mail. I don't run them on my machine, though...;):lmao:) We have all kinds of insects (grasshoppers like to get out and scare the bejeezus out of you when you're in the bathroom and you thought you were alone until something landed on your leg:eek:), and mice, and chicks. I hate it knowing most of them are being sent as feed. I want to just let them all out, like the scene from E.T. where Elliott releases all of the dissection frogs. :rotfl:
(Of course I can't though...I have to keep my job! :confused3:laughing:)

We get insects from the mail at the science center to. If you ever process any for the Da Vinci Science Center in Allentown, PA, they won't be used for food! :thumbsup2

HAPPY BELATED B-DAY, RON!!!!

Jen, have you seen butterflies come through? I've heard they are oftentimes used at weddings for each guest to release outside the church. I would imagine they are shipped overnight.

Vermin being sent through the mail.. SOOO not what I want to know LOL

LOL, Ron says thanks everyone, for the Birthday wishes! :goodvibes

I have seen the boxes of butterflies. They are hard to see b/c there is a lot of chickenwire , it is like double wrapped in there, I guess they tend to escape!. :thumbsup2 The chicks are the best though, they come in eggcrate like cartons that you can just open right up..not saying we did that or anything....:rolleyes1 (LOL I didn't open it but I did hold one!)

Vermin being sent through the mail.. SOOO not what I want to know LOL
Oh yeah. Even snakes.

Ok, Amy ... so what did you name him?

I've named the baby Remy. :)

Here's a picture that was taken on Sunday.

(just thought I'd share! Not just that, but paired with an URI. Good times (NOT).

Just in time for Jimmy Buffett this weekend.

So I had to call in tonight. Don't want customers having to spray their mail with lysol...:rolleyes1

ugh Jen I feel for you. Gabby had that when she was little and she was miserable... eye drops for a 3 yr old.. never a fun day.

Have fun at the concert!!!

well we put a bid in on a house.... the house is going into foreclosure May 6th so I think we are going to wait and try and buy it even cheaper. Just my luck though.. it tooks us weeks to figure out this one. :confused3

That bites, Jen! I hope your eye gets better soon!

Here is the most up to date picture of Remy, my baby mouse. I just took it tonight. Remy has opened his/her eyes now so he/she is becoming more active. I love watching mommy and baby - they are so cute together.

Thanks guys..I'm fine now. We have a supply of Vigamox (the antiboitic drops) onhand, so I was able to get rid of it quickly.

The show...was awesome, of course! :dance3:
I'm a little worse for wear today. Somehow my mom and I managed to put away a whole bottle (umm...big one) of Absolut! :upsidedow Chocolate Martini's. It was a great party (and the show was good , too!) LOL! Sarah even stayed up (and danced like crazy) until the very end! She is such a party animal!

This was our setup, not as big as in years past, but it was only us & my mom this time. We managed to snag a really good spot in the shade by the entrance where we always like to go, unfortunately they got wise to us and removed the electrical outlet they used to have right there...:rolleyes1

Oh well, we still had a battery adapter for the blender!

Here's some pics...the cookie monster there..and in the bottom one , that's my mom in the pink olding Savannah on her lap! :cutie:

Omg Jen I cant believe Sarah is that big. Seeing her from your trip report to now is such a change! And I agree with Amy, training her well.

Hey you cricut user (Kimberly and Shell.. anyone else?)

I have been thinking about getting one... I have a sizzix and it has only been used a handful of times. Cutting out a title just takes forever letter by letter. But thought the cricut would be much fast and much more fun! LoL. So tell me your pro's and cons, along with which type you have. Also any examples of what you have done with it I would LOVE to see... I think Im putting it on my bday/anniversary/xmas list this yr. Thanks gals!
