We are back from Vegas... our flight was cancelled yesterday so we had to reroute through LAX.... I got to see 2 new states instead of 1. lol.
Vegas was great, and I knew we would have to walk alot, but it was soo much more than I thought..

Val - I was in Vegas early march and yes - I'd forgotten how much walking was involved - unless you just wanted to sit on a seat in front of a slot for hours

Thought I would share with you all I saw fellow Dis Cruiser Tonya... lol Her family came down to San Diego for spring break. E and I were going to go out with them last night but we both were just exhausted. So on their way back home they stopped by for about an hour and we caught up. Wish we would have taken a pic.. it was good times to see her again. It sucks living 5-6hours from one of your best friends!

We won 40 in slots at Bellagio. ( we played for 90 minutes on 5.00) and then John won 300 or so at craps, so not bad.

Drea: I did wave to you at LAX, I didnt have time, but I wanted to go see Ryan Seacrest.

Two of my best friends live in different states. The worst part of all is that my one friend is having problems with her boyfriend (he's abusing her) and I feel so helpless because I'm in PA and she's in FL. Sigh... I've talked to her so much in the last couple of days though both on the phone, text and on Facebook. I think she's heading in the right direction though...I hope!

Wow...I'm catching up, so lots to say here!

Steve is back in the US- but it'll probably be another week 'til he gets home. He landed in Baltimore this afternoon. .....Yes- but it's horrible because he's here, probably sitting in the Philly airport right now, but he won't be home for at least another week. It's nuts......

DH is home!

Julie, I bet the wait for him and you after he landed on our soil to hold eachother in your arms was painful! Glad it is all over though!!!!!!! No doubt your Easter celebration next weekend will be awesome and oh so much more special! Lots of adjustments for the family to go through in the coming weeks, but it's all good!!

Keep us posted on Alex's next surgury! What a special little guy!

....the competition results....the girls did a great job.....They got Elite Gold, a 'Great Confidence' Special Award, and first place in the division! .....

So I have been spending a lot of my spare time searching public records. I have been trying to track down my dad (long story) and an old friend of mine, my best friend from elementary school.......I guess for now I'll stay quiet! (Why is there no chicken smilie)!

I do hope everything works out with your sleuthing, Jen! I have to agree with Drea that you should reach out to your friend's family with an email. Don't be embarrassed that you didn't keep in touch over all these years....it happens to all of us. What matters is that you want to know how she's doing and let her know that you think of her!

....So right now I'm sitting at a computer out in Lancaster County, PA. My sister and I are at a scrapbooking weekend.....

.....Erin - can't believe the little stowaway is almost ready to make an appearance!!! I can only imagine how excited you are (and by this time how ready you are to deliver this baby!).

Hope you had a fantastic time on your scrapbooking weekend!! We certainly did a few weeks ago when we retreated to the heart of Amish Country, Berlin, OH.

I was going to say the same thing about Erin's upcoming event, including the word "stowaway"!

It's so strange to see many of you sharing events that we get to see come full circle. Like Sarah's surprise to mom and dad to us seeing her to her first b-day party coming up! Then there's Julie's DH leaving and finally home as well as Alex being an addition to their family! Erin having a stowaway to us anticipating Kade's arrival with her. So many other things, too! One of the next major events is getting Amy and Dave posed in their wedding photos!! It's been such a pleasure to have you all share these special events with us!

He didn't cooperate as much as I had hoped, but we got a few good pics. He kept his hand and arm in front of his face and against his forehead most of the time. He has chubby cheeks and big feet!....

I noticed Kade's albumn on your FB page just yesterday. Amazing and awesome pictures! He's so sweet! What did the Madison and Chase say about them?

Just in time for Summer I got rid of my convertible.

It's a very sad day for all of us Phillies Phans...the voice of the Phillies, Harry Calas, collapsed and passed away this afternoon. He was getting ready to do what he loved (getting ready to broadcast this afternoon's game) when he collapsed and passed shortly later. He had such an unmistakable voice and I'm going to miss hearing "that ball is outta here"! At least he got to see his beloved Phillies win it all last year - and he really enjoyed the celebration!

Oh that RIPPED my heart out! I had the lump in my throat and even started the ugly cry. That one just really got to me more than I think any other episode.
