Hello...my hubby and I are planning on doing this...we were hoping to know someone too would like to team up with you if you would like...Renee

We're doing it too - but we're a party of three and expect to be just us. My hubby doesn't want to share the driving, so he's willing to pay for the extra seat to have the driving all to himself - crazy man!!

Cool:cool1: Sounds good to me:woohoo: To let you know I haven't driven stick in about 5 yrs., you may get a little whip lash till I get the hang of it again.

LOL!!!! Nah ... it's like riding a bike. Something you just never forget, from my experience. :). Good luck with it!!

So DH decided today (and he calls me a procrastinator) that he wants to wear a tux on formal night. So with hours to go before the deadline to order, we were madly measuring and ordering

So now, that means I have to go find my "formal" dress from last years cruise (glad none of you knew me then) and I will use my other new dress for Palo - goodness.....the fun never stops!;)

Ok...first off SKOI: To bad we don't live in the same town we could have spent the night at the hospital comforting each other. Elliott was admited yesterday (thank goodness just for the night) for dehydration. I'm so mad at his doc right now I could kick him. We told him on thursday that Elliott was not eating and hew as not drinking like he usually does. The doc's response was "well just offer him more fluids and he starts to feel better that will pick up". Ok.....when my child is sick I keep fluids around him because of a fear of just this sort of thing happening. so how can I push more fluids. Thurs night he started throwing up and by Friday he was listliss and would only lay on me and sleep. We had an appointment with the ENT to look at his ear, when she took one look at him she started the orders and called the hospital to put him in. A night of IV fluids and while tired and weak, he's at least eating and drinking.

Now...you guys have GOT to slow down for me. I got to page 102 and just can't finish catching up tonight. So anything that happens between 102 and now...I'll figure out tomorrow.

Thank You so much for your kind words.. DS is actually mine from a previous marraige, whom DH adopted as his own when DS was 9.. We have been with DH since our son was close to 8 years old.. DS & I went through alot together, I was 16 when I got pregnant and married his bio father at 18. His bio father is an alcholic.. He got abusive with me, never DS *thank goodness*, and grew apart. He wanted to Party and I wanted to be a responsible parent for my son.. DH has been a VERY strong role model for DS and they respect each other so much.. We are very blessed to have found DH.. :lovestruc It's funny, when you see the two of them together, you would Never think they weren't full blood father & son.. So many people tell us how they look alike.. :goodvibes

My 'daddy' did this as well...but we waited until I was 18 for him to adopt me (mom wanted me to be able to legally 'make the decision'). People always say "man you favor your dad" and we just laugh. I proposed to him during a date one night (I'm sure you know how that goes....mom figured she was paying for daycare enough when she had to work...many dates included me) so he always says that he only married mom to get me. He cried like a baby at my wedding...and debated until the last moment on how to phrase his 'giving me away' either "her Mother and I" Or "her Mother and Dadd" (last one won out). Thank God for his mysteries because my dad is the best.

Sounds good to me! I can think of a number of clients for you right off the top of my head! And some of them are going on this very cruise . . .

HMMMM Maybe a clinic on board???? I'll offer my room and clothes to do it in for the trip back. :rotfl2:

Hello everyone! Not sure if I need to introduce myself, I suppose the screen name gives it away. Chris has been trying to convince me to post for awhile now. I created an account weeks ago but am just now getting around to posting. I have kept up somewhat with trying to read but I am always too tired to start posting after catching up on this chatty bunch.

Things have been very busy around here with both girls starting school, their numerous activities, finishing FE gifts and of course trying to keep Chris in line. :sad2:
I am definitely ready for this vacation. Guess I should start packing:confused3

I don't think we are on the Treasure Map. I hope Chris hasn't scared you all so much that you will be afraid to visit our FE. I wouldn't mind but the girls would be disappointed. There is no reason to fear. Since neither Chris or I are crafty in the sewing area we outsourced the creation of our FE. So no products used in our FE came from our home or more specifically from Chris's "drawers" :scared1: :rotfl:
We have a really awesome looking FE made by Tiffany (Thank you so much Tiffany, it is better than we had even hoped).

Sue (sorry, never even made a signature yet)

Ok...remind me to buy you a drink just for being brave enough to marry Fatcat :lmao:

....I wanted to wear my Crocs, but they are sea blue, navy and pink ...... nothing I'm taking matches the darn things.

Mine are purple and do not match anything of mine either, but they are so comfy that they will be on my feet!

:wave2: I'm glad you like it! :goodvibes

So I spent (with Alex, aka Medical Disaster Boy) another night in the ER.

Oh Julie and Alex:  I hope this round of meds takes care of the drain problem.

Hi guys....some bad luck here I was in a nasty car accident tonight.

Jen, I hope you are not to sore in the morning. Bubble Wrap for you!

Everybody, be safe out there! We only have 7 more days...let's all have no more DRAMA!:thumbsup2

4 more days for us!

We are letting Brendan check himself in & out this time...he is 8 (will be 9 in Oct.) He is a really responsible kid, so I am confident he will be fine and we have very strict rules about where he will go when he does. He knows we will revoke this privelege if we need to. And quickly.;)

Grady doesn't know about this. I think I'm sticking to the non-self check out option. Perhaps next cruise we will think about it.

I'm glad they arrived safe and sound! I've been thinking about Amy, Dave, and Kimberly today because I knew they all flew today. Didn't Hadley and her crew fly out too?

In other news, in exactly one week I will be stinkin' drunk on girly umbrella drinks. :woohoo:

:rotfl: :rotfl:

Ok...first off SKOI: To bad we don't live in the same town we could have spent the night at the hospital comforting each other. Elliott was admited yesterday (thank goodness just for the night) for dehydration.

Oh no! Poor little guy! I'm glad he is feeling at least up to eating. Are his ears doing any better?

I keep telling myself - 4 more days, but today I was so stressed out packing, sewing and doing laundry my Vertigo came back. I had to just stop and lay down. Our dog sitter backed out on us at the last minute and I think that stressed me out the most! We have some friends who said they would watch her, but we had to make sure our dogs got along first. We took her over for a visit tonight and they were fine. That took a lot off my mind. Our dog is so pampered and I just couldn't imagine her at home all day long alone with a pet sitter coming by 2 times to let her out. She would be a basket case by the time we got home.

Well, I'm not going to do any more packing tonight. I'll hit it after church - between meetings tomorrow. I'm hoping to be completely packed except for the things we need by Monday. My theory is we have enough clothing to get buy for 4 days. Even if we don't like them. Church should be interesting because all our nice clothing is packed! I don't wear jeans to church very often, but I will tomorrow, and I'm singing a solo too! :rotfl:

Have a nice evening everyone!

Tiffany

We love Dr. Cossari!! My oldest son had some bizarre orbital something or other which was literally causing his eye to pop out of his head. Scary stuff - Cossari was just fantastic! I own A Gift of Faith right on Main Street across from Salsa Salsa and up from Starbucks.

Gosh, it is a small world!

Wow! That is scary stuff. How long ago was that and how old was your son at the time? It was very scary for me, too, when my DD had her eye surgery at age 7. But Cossari was great! The DDs no longer need to see Cossari, so they see his partner Mladek (sp?) for their annual exams (both DDs have horrible eyesight:sad1: ), and he is great, too. I'll have to stop in your store next time I'm there. I've been to the Starbucks there a number of times, esp back around the times of DDs surgery. It is a very small world indeed!

Ok .... that's enough of the sickies and the pains!!!!!!! Everyone FEEL BETTER!!!! We'll be on a big boat with Mickey in just ONE WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our dog sitters (my parents) bailed on us, too, yesterday. They've got a lot going on--about to close on the sale of the house they've lived in for 41 years, so I understand. Plus, I'm not leaving til Sat a.m. so I've got time. I think we can piece it together. Glad it sounds like you've worked it out!:)

I am sorry to hear about Elliot. :sad1: I hope he's feeling better tonight. That is so frightening for a parent.

You can sign me up for your clinic.

awwwwwww :guilty: That is such a sweet story.. Thank You for sharing..

When DH asked me to marry him, DS had the ring and DH asked.. Will you marry "us" :lovestruc I was like, wait he is mine.. You have to marry "us"

Geez....I'll just preface this by saying I have NOT caught up on this board!!:lmao: In the last 36 hours since we left yesterday morning until now when I actually have a chance to log on and look you guys have filled like 18 pages or something.....If I actually read and responded to that.....I'd miss my whole vacation at WDW....;)

So if anything truly important or critical has been posted that Jason and i shoudl know....then PM me.....but otherwise....I just can't keep up.

We got in on time yesterday morning and had a nice day at Typhoon Lagoon and then at our resort for a while and then to the Studios (and stood in line over an hour to get on the new Toy Story ride) before dinner at DTD. Today we spent the day at MK with a break for lunch with Hadley and her family at Whispering Canyon....then a great dinner at Kona Cafe tonight.

Tmw is Animal Kingdom day with Hadley's bunch and Sandi's family!!

Does anyone know with out having to look it up, what kind of beer is served on the ship??? :rolleyes1

Budweiser or Miller?

Also, I'm still unsure as if we can or can not carry-on liquor (eg.bottled beer).:drinking1 on the ship.

I really appreciate any answers I can get since this is so last minute:scared:

pirate:

WOW, I was hoping for at least one response:flower3:

Anyone????:hourglass

Extend the trip!!!

Disney Rewards® Visa® Cardholders can get FREE Dining AND a room discount when you book a full price Walt Disney World vacation package for check-ins most nights 9/28/08-10/11/08, 11/9/08-11/22/08, 12/14/08-12/20/08. FREE Dining has never been offered during this time period in the past, and never with a room discount, so this is a phenomenal offer!
How does this work? Do you have to have a code? I paid with the Disney Visa, but I didn't get this. Maybe because I booked early. :confused3

We went to Chik fil A for lunch today with friends, & I kept making Reese put antibac gel on his hands when he came back to the table for a bite of food from the play place.
We just had a Chik fil A open here a couple days ago. Are they really that good? What should I get? I always hear people back East talk about this place. Is it kinda like how Krispy Cremes are? People love them.. I thought they were okay.

LOL!! Well, they will just have to get over it. :) I think I will wear jeans to church, too ...... but then, I always do! LOL!!! I hope all goes well tomorrow for you doing your solo. What are you singing?

Well, I shouldn't say a solo. . . I'm starting and ending an Allison Kraus (SP?) song - I think it's called, "Down To The River To Pray" and I have another part in a praise song, but it's unusual for me to get to sing alone. It figures I will be drawing attention to myself when I have to wear jeans. :rotfl2:

It's a casual service, so I shouldn't be out of place. I just usually wear Capris and a nice shirt. :confused3 Speaking of shirts - all my nice one's are packed too? I guess it's jeans and a T- shirt. Too bad my Castaway Cay one is also packec. :rotfl2:

When DH asked me to marry him, DS had the ring and DH asked.. Will you marry "us" :lovestruc I was like, wait he is mine.. You have to marry "us"

That is Priceless!

Geez....I'll just preface this by saying I have NOT caught up on this board!!:lmao:

:rotfl2: It has been rather chatty here on the boards! I think those of us still at home are hoping to hear about vacations from those who have already left!

then to the Studios (and stood in line over an hour to get on the new Toy Story ride) before dinner at DTD.

How was it? I won't get to ride it until Dec. of '09

lunch with Hadley and her family at Whispering Canyon....then a great dinner at Kona Cafe tonight.

I just switched our dinner ressies to lunch here on Friday! It sounds like a fun place to eat.

WOW, I was hoping for at least one response:flower3:

Anyone????:hourglass

I don't remember what type of Beer they had on board. :confused3 I remember a lot of variety though and one of the bars had a good selection of imports. Doug likes imports better than domestic beer, so he knew what bar had what on tap to fill his beer mug. Sorry I can't help more.

How does this work? Do you have to have a code? I paid with the Disney Visa, but I didn't get this. Maybe because I booked early. :confused3

Check with mousesavers.com to see if they have the code.

We have several Chik Fil A's here - Well, we are in NC! Doug eats there at least once a week. I don't think he would starve it he couldn't eat there, but he would not be a happy camper! :scared1:

Tiffany

MMMM Chick Fil-A mmm they yummy chicken sandwich and SWEET TEA - Oh how I miss Southern Sweet Tea! I can't wait to get back to the States!

My husband is flying out of Iraq today to Kuwait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He just called!

WOW, I was hoping for at least one response:flower3:

Anyone????:hourglass

I missed the other question on my last reply. Yes, you can carry on unopened containers of your favorite beverage. I think you have to carry them on though. I remember reading about people packing them very well in their checked bags and the bottle still got broken.

Ugg - Your parents waited longer than my sitter! Our usual dog sitter's DH is having knee surgery on the 23rd and they were worried about having an extra dog in the house. I can understand too, but WOW that threw me in a tailspin! They have watched our doggie for every vacation we've gone on since we've had her. She is 4 and we didn't know what to do. Mindy is a Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix and very pampered. Our friends, who will be watching her, dog is a hyper lab mix. The two got along, but Mindy had to let the other dog know who was boss once or twice. There was never an aggressive moment though.

Thank you. :yay:

Debating on if we are going to bring a case of our favorite beer.

With my luck the bottles will break no matter how well I pack them. Hmmm, better rethink this.
Thanks :)

I think we're the only ones up! :rotfl:

Good luck finding Southern Sweet Tea in FL. :rotfl2: I'm not Originally from the south, so I like unsweet tea.

Does this mean your DH will make it home in time to cruise? I hope so! I'm sending you some pixiedust: that he gets home safe!
