I picked out my day time clothing tonight...now my mom is insisting on ironing everything! She's so nice...even though I told her she doesn't need to, she still does.

Still need to finish the FE...I'm going to do the FE gifts tomorrow night and then Friday night will be the all-out panic packing time! LOL!!! It happens every vacation.

Took the prescription for the Xanex to get filled tonight! I'll need it for the flight! Flying is not my forte!

I know how horrible ear infections are...I've had plenty. I remember one infection that was an inner and an outer infection at the same time and it was horrible I had pain all of the way from my ear to my jaw...then my ear drum burst! Then came the ringing in the ear...fun times. I really hope he gets better soon!

I actually grabbed Hertz as I am gold there.
Even though they are not at MCO they have free shuttle from Port to Rental.

I got full size for 22.49 per day for two days.

infection now causing sever pain....codin takin the edge off. *sigh* Currently weare sitting up in my bed with him dozing on me (yep typing one handed)

I hope he feels better soon - for both of you.

I'm traveling with my Mom who is 76 and she babysits her great grandchild every day (we all know what little germ carriers they are) and also looks after her 10 year old grandchild before and after school. Over the last several weeks, the 10 year old has had chicken pox (that after two vaccinations and a previously mild case) and strep throat. On top of that two of her other grandchildren (13 & 16 - she lives in this house with my sister) have had strep. I'm so worried that she will come down with something herself!! I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for the next 10 days (and the 7 days on the ship)

I'm still interested in joining you! Brunch would even be better than dinner, but I won't be picky. I will talk to Rhonda this evening, but definately 3 of us are a go!

Poor Guy!!!!!!!!!

I too have had my ear drum rupture and it causes a great deal of pain. Growing up with ear infections by entire life, passed down from my father, I am too familiar with the pain of ear infection and would not wish that on my worse enemy. Prayers going up for Elliott and all the ones come down with things.
Best wishes and may God keep us all well. This is going to be the best cruise of my life and I hope we are all healthy (the entire boat) let's get it out of our systems now.

I have never done this, but, I was told, it is not private like in the spa.. you can hear all the noises and people are all around you..

I know a bunch are on the 1pm time slot, a few of us have 2pm.
if you have 4 or more paying in your party, then the cab ride is included. kids 5 and under are free!

We booked on this site too, not though Disney. We are going at 2pm. They didn't have a 1pm when I booked. Also, if you want a cab ride you have to email and tell them. That's what they told me anyways. They sent me an email and said to print that and show it to the cab driver and when you get there they pay for it.

I did the open air massage at CC a few years ago. I didn't hear any noise from the beach, all I could hear was the wind blowing thru the open windows...It was private, no one could look in. The huts are raised up so the windows are not eye level. It sure was relaxing.

We both love the idea of getting the veranda, but is the price worth it? I don't want to do it if I'm not getting a good deal, or if I could have gotten a much better deal by booking this in the first place. Is there any possibility of getting a better deal upgrading at the port?

Also, how does the GTY system work now that we've all got our cruise documents?? Do we just find out our room when we get on board? Will our luggage go to the right place since the tags came with our original room number info? Is it too late to really be doing this?

That sure would be tempting. I would think that it would be a good deal as it is about 500.00 per person to move from a cat 9 to a cat 6. As far as what would happen with the luggage I have no clue but feel sure you would have it before you need to disembark. I don't think it is ever too late to upgrade and know that folks do it all the time. What ever you do have fun and enjoy. See everyone real soon. lois

Keep in mind that Cat 7 is a navigator verandah.
So not only is it a different type of balcony it also guarantees you a specific spot on the ship.

Also if you decide not to do it now. Keep that price in mind and ask in the port if there are any upgrades you can pay for it use the $790 as a reference point.

I saw they've already provided you with the number. We're checking our email daily though, so PM me if you would like to use my email address as an emergency contact! Your family can put "Attn: ScoutsMom99" or whatever in the subject box. Anyway--another cheaper option. This is what we do with our pet sitter. Email contact.

I'm a bit biased, because I am claustrophobic and cannot do the inside stateroom with no verandah. So I would say that YES the upgrade is worth the price!! So it really depends on if YOU care about the verandah. We love waking up with the sunlight, being able to watch the ocean in the mornings, & hearing the waves. But for some, they don't spend much time in their rooms and paying extra for a place just to sleep isn't worth the extra. That's my two cents!
