I just snagged (paid for) an upgrade from a cat 7 to a cat 5 gty... for get this - about $150!!!!! AAAAAAAAH.... DH will be so surprised! Poor guy really needs a vacation after this mess with Ike.

Anyone know how to get the Pain out of a shoulder blade? I don't know what I did or how but I have such a pain in my right side shoulder blade.. I can't reach it myself to put heat cream on it so I took 2 aleve but they don't seem to be helping and both DS & DH are at work for another 3+ hours.. I've been trying to stretch it but it makes it hurt worse

PT(physical therapist) DM here...

Try a cold pack to the affected area and lie down for 20 minutes...keep the aleeve going every 12 hours as directed...have your DH and DS dig their thumbs, heels, whatever works into the muscle that is sore...then ice again while lying down...follow each ice pack with a cold "big girl" drink.

umm... do I lay with the ice pack under me? or does the icepack lay ontop while i'm on my stomach??

Stacy, if you can tolerate laying on top of it it go ahead. It might be hard to get it to stay in place otherwise. Oh, and tell your DH not to be nice when he digs in. It's going to hurt, but it will feel better afterward. In fact, you might want to ice it again after he's done.

We went to Chik fil A for lunch today with friends, & I kept making Reese put antibac gel on his hands when he came back to the table for a bite of food from the play place. My friend said "Obsessed, much?" and I told her I didn't want him catching any playplace cooties before the cruise!!!

Ok .... tie dye posted on my blog. I'm really pretty pleased with how *most* of them turned out. I hate that my little one's doesn't have a Mickey head on it, but she's happy with the shirt anyway - and I'm NOT mentioning the fact that there's no Mickey on there.

The shirts look great!!! If you want to make the Mickey heads more pronounced, get a bleach pen. I made little hatch marks around my Mickey head pattern after my tie-dye attempt was a big blob. The bleach pen worked great & saved our Mickey head shirts. That being said, I think they look awesome the way they are!!

I believe the max in the Palo room is 14. The minimum is 11.

I'm still interested in joining you! Brunch would even be better than dinner, but I won't be picky. I will talk to Rhonda this evening, but definately 3 of us are a go! I'm not positive, but I think the room holds 12 to 15. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Today at Chik Fil A, I *almost* grabbed a handful of mayo packets for FatCat, but then I'd have to explain to my IRL friends why I was hoarding mayo, what the DISboards are, what a FE is, and why I'm taking mayo on the cruise

If you get a room upgrade or room change before Oct. 27th and you are on the Lanyard List...please PM me to let me know your new room number. That way if we don't connect in the port or the Promenade Lounge before Sail-Away then I will know where to drop your lanyards off later that night!

(I'm sure that Drea would also like to know about room changes for Secret Mickeys and Fish Extenders, too)

Hi Garden girl! If I may speak for the many....it is highly likely someone here will post some navigators, myself lprobably included. I will be doing a TR and *may* post mine (read: I'm sure gonna try!) but my scanner is terrible and gives me a headache every time I try to use it...so I may not be successful. And maybe someone else here will beat me to it, but I just thought I'd answer you that at least I for one do have intentions of getting them up & posted for those coming along behind us. I don't have a PTR so I don't have a title yet, but barring any crazy sea-bound adventures it will have "Back to the Island" and "Double Dip Delight" In the title...watch the TR board for it in (looks at watch), oh about 20 days!

If the Penguins had won the Stanley cup we were going to get jerseys for our family fun photo. I cant see paying 100-150 per jersey , cant seem to find knock off hockey jerseys like you can football jersey.

Just took the pc in to get extracted from Ciruit City lets hope for $100 that they make you pay up front they get it all!.... keep your fingers crossed yall! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As I left my hard drive I told the kid (and kid he was) Im leaving a yrs worth of my baby's lives in your hands. He tells me Ill try not to mess it up.. UHH THANKS YOU DO THAT lol

Oh, I almost forgot, I emailed DU about the picture and they thought it was best to talk to them when we get on the boat. She said one of the other agents that just cruised talked to them and they did waive the $85 for them so we will see.

I neglected to mention that if you are one of our fabulous Message Center Cabins....then I will give you your door-sign at the same time I give you lanyards. If I don't see you then I'll just put the board right on your door myself in the evening.



Also----I can't remember who exactly was bringing the markers....I think it was one of our many DIS friends with "Magic" in their names....but I can't remember who. So if you're reading this and YOU are the marker-fairy...then PM me. I just want to coordinate when/how to get the markers from you, etc.
